I agree with Coulter on this. I support Israel as an ally, but I get sick of hearing politicians pander to Israel to such an extreme extent. It's no different than hearing Jeb pander to Mexico.

This was my reaction also. Israel and the USA are and always should be close allies, and I'm happy these guys have shown such visible support for Israel, but in a US presidential debate, the discussions should be what is good for the USA, for Americans, first. None of us would be happy if half the candidates talked about what they would do for Mexico rather than what they would do for Americans (as a good portion of the candidates are also doing).
Ann is wrong about one thing here, though: support for Israel has nothing to do with US Jews. Heck, most US Jews are left-wing nutbags who would nuke Israel if they could, or let the Muzzies overrun them. This is directed more toward the hardcore Christians. So maybe that sort of pandering isn't so bad after all.

Israel, our ally in the Middle East, which is surrounded by enemies hell-bent on its destruction, could use some assurance by those seeking the presidency of the United States. Especially after the way they've been treated by the current Regime.

It's no different than hearing Jeb pander to Mexico. It certainly is strategically different in terms of who would be our ally in a shooting war in the Middle East. Iwo Jima wasn't a very big place, either; but it was critically more important to us than Mexico in WW2.

What an asinine thing to say! Do you (and Ann) think Jews are the only ones who care about Israel? I admit that I, a gentile, have divided loyalties. I've never stepped foot in Israel, but I care deeply and profoundly about the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. It matters a great deal to me how resolutely the candidates align themselves with the plight of Israel in these extremely troubled times.
The next president is going to have to undo a lot of damage that the puppet of satan who sits in our White House has done during his administration. That you and Ann the Hideous think addressing Israel in this election discussion is pandering is frighteningly telling. Perhaps satan's puppet has been more effective than I could have imagined. Not a surprise though. A couple of thousand years ago, God told us these kinds of things would happen.
Maranatha.
