You know, that was my first thought as well. Few words outshine the f-bomb when it comes to expressing frustration. Some people find the f-bomb so very offensive that they simply can't hear the context in which it was used, and believe it not only taints every word around it for miles but also damns the utterer to hell. I'm so guilty of using it while driving, I'm no-one to judge; but there's a time and place for everything, and the consensus here — if there can ever be one on FR — is that it was an ill-advised thing to say in the brief format of Twitter.
I agree. Conservatives need to fight this trend to stigmatize what only liberals claim is politically hyper sensitive incorrect speech. Bigotry is about what people do and not what they say. The left likes to make it about what people say because it gives their media clout to destroy people who conveniently are mostly conservative and Christian.
Coulter is fighting the leftist media deemed non PC fight to end illegal immigration. I continue to support her as these warriors are few and far between. The media will play this in an attempt to take her out.

Also, the amendment Cruz made to the Gang of Eight bill was made when Harry Reid was still the Prince of the Senate.
Now, since you provided that link, let's consider what Trump is saying about immigration. Last night he said that we should throw them out and let the good ones back in. Previously he has said we should let foreigners stay in the country if they want to attend college.
And he said he wants talented foreigners to come into the country to work because we need them.
Not quite as hardline as you want to believe he is, is he?
What we need to do first is to secure the border. It doesn't matter what else we think about immigration until we do that. Cruz understands it. Trump says he does.
Cruz wants to build a fence---he reiterated that last night. So does Trump, if you believe him.
So we see that, while you try to paint Trump the shyster as being somehow superior to Cruz on the immigration issue, he isn't. What we know is that Cruz has a history of backing up words with action, while Trump has a habit of making grand promises without following up.
You'll never find a perfect candidate and I think you probably know at least that much. Therefore, I'll take proven conservative Cruz over liberal Donald Trump.

I completely disagree. Ann Coulter showed herself to be an anti-Semite by more than simply using the F word. Her whole tweet was a regurgitation of the anti-Semitic idea that the only reason that Conservatives support Israel is to pander to the Jews. That she would get so angry about Cruz’s excellent closing argument where he mentioned that he would move the embassy to Jerusalem shows that she is no conservative.

Ann is not an anti-Semite. Therefore there must be another reason for the tweet. I don’t presume to know what that reason is. I think some people on this thread might have come close to it but who knows.
I’m not suggesting all forms of satire are appropriate for public consumption.
They aren’t pandering to the 2% Jewish population. They are “pandering” to the millions of Christians and non-Christians who support Israel.
It’s not the first time. Coulter made a similar comment several years ago.
I do not equate anti-Semitism with an opinion on the state of Israel.
You can be anti-Israel and not be anti Jew.
