The cops musta wanted her car.

A 12-year old BMW? Kelly Blue Book gives the private sale value of her car at about $3700.

I always liked Dewy Cheatham & Howe.

Check out this REAL law firm's name.

That's great. Probably got at least one of them the promotion to partner.

My two real life funny lawyer names were:

1. I. Harassovich. a real printed return address that came on law mail coming to the U of Missouri (Columbia) law library that I came upon while working a stint there. There's something about being sued by someone with the name I. Harassovich that should strike a chill in the heart.

2. The Dodson Law firm on State Street in Rockford, Illinois. I wonder if Esq. Dodson knows that his name was used in Dickens' "Pickwick Papers" as one-half of the unscrupulous Dodson and Fogg law firm, taking plesure in putting as many folks as necessary into debtors' prison to ensure they receive their fee.

If she’s driving reckless give her a ticket. If she’s on drugs put her in jail.

If not then leave her alone. Who the heck cares what she does with twitter.

There has to be more to this story then what I have read in these accounts.
No family looking for her or trying to get her out? What about her job? Says she is a banker. No one there wondered where she was tried to find her etc?
Seems to be an awful lot missing from these articles.......

Who the hell thought that was a good idea? Someone on the design committee needs a smack to the head.

This must be a “feature” of the later models. My car may be a bit long in the tooth, but, thankfully, I can perform a lot of routine maintenance on it in my own garage.

Sadly, an ever growing number of car companies.

Here’s a different Cadillac model, the CTS, demonstrating what’s involved in changing bulbs on it. Removing the headlight and replacing it is the same as replacing the bulb because it’s the same labor.

Taking your car to a mechanic or back to the dealer and paying dealer labor rates just to change a bulb is not just for the incompetent-liberal types any more.

Another reason for me to stick with owning and buying older cars unless I can get my hands on a shop manual for one of the newer models (as it seems that you need one for mundane procedures such as changing a headlight or taillight).

I think it might have to do with the fact she was dancing in her car while driving.

We need to know what was on the stereo and a picture to determine guilt.

With most marques, it’s stupidly easy to get ahold of the factory shop manual these days. Either by paying for a licensed PDF copy, a licensed printed copy, or going with the ‘Yaaar, Matey!’ network.

The state has the power (but not the right) to throw someone in the nut house. This power is being misused.

Yes, by the same people who demanded that the nut houses be closed and their occupants thrown out among us.

This happens far to often when the police organization can not hold you for a crime they thought you did. The psychiatric system becomes an easy fill-in for this purpose. It is a system (white supremacy - criminal and mental “health”) designed to break you without being accused for responsibility, which the average person see’s as a personal decision. But it affects everyone! When these police saw this black woman dancing in her BMW, they felt society gave them a bad deal. As white men, in their minds, no black person should be allowed to live better then themselves. If it should happen, these individuals (accomplished black folks) must be dealt with and it is not with kind gloves - more like an IRON fist! Regardless of what people believe, New York City is a very racist place. How do you think they are able to keep 8.2 million people under their grip? Systematic control. Systematic control can be acquire in many different ways. But the most common is through the actions that was taken against this woman.
