You know you’re losing when Donald Trump stops responding to you on Twitter.
That’s the situation facing Bobby Jindal, the Republican governor of Louisiana, who is currently tied for 10th place in the GOP presidential field.
Jindal is on a desperate mission to troll Trump by whatever means possible. Television hits, interviews, speeches, social media — it’s all part of the playbook to boost Jindal’s visibility in the early states where Trump is dominating the race.
As you might expect, it’s a tough climb. Jindal received only 1 percent of the vote nationwide in a new Washington Post-ABC News poll of Republican-leaning voters. That puts him on par with Rick Santorum, Chris Christie and Rick Perry, who left the presidential race on Frida

What a shame! Jindal cashiering all his dignity in a stupid, ill-advised and totally wasted Hail Mary attention-attack on Donald Trump.

I’m actually embarrassed for the guy. I’m pretty sure he’s been put up to do this by the powers that be. And the joke’s on him.

I like Bobby but not for president. He may be campaigning for a cabinet post but it is not nice to insult your future boss.
When Jindal was to give the televised Republican response to Obama in February 2009, he was touted by the GOPe as a real comer on the national stage. What a flop! He was horrible then and he still is.....
Didn’t Trump say he only responds to candidates that are at least at 10% in the polls?

Yup. I like(d) Jindal a lot although I don’t think he’s the man for the current times, but he has really made himself irrelevant with his behavior. Even if he decided to run again in a more conducive environment for a successful campaign, what sticks in my mind are the childish insults. He’s “jumped the Trump” for me & it’s done permanent damage.

Jindal has gotten sporadic attention but has never positioned himself as a force to be reckoned with. His recent lapses don’t do him any favors. He is one of those folks who gets the occasional sidebar and then sits down on the “laurel seat” w/o making any extra waves on the national front - similar to Walker once the union deals settled down to a smolder after blazing brightly for a while.
That was pathetic, I turned it off.
And...I can not be accused of being a racist. My ancestry is from same country as his.
