"The ruling class is pissing in their pants here... (Trump) is a challenge to the two-party duapoly that is running the government...." "There are all different types of Republicans...Trump appeals to a specify type of Populist conservative within the Republican party ranks. They are the same people Reagan appealed to. Trump is the candidate of Main Street, he is not the candidate of Wall Street."

And, how did that work out for us?
Present tense: don’t.
Specious logic.
Didn’t know Perot had balls like that, at all. Wow.
Would you prefer the TEA Party never came into existence and left the Democrats in charge? The TEA party is the only people with the GOPe looking over its shoulders. I bet every Kentuckian who voted for McConnell is kicking themselves!
Look, it’s all a crap shoot for whoever we put into office. No one knows for sure what they will or won’t do - and that includes those we consider the most conservative. Reagan was the most conservative president we’ve elected, and even he made some bone=headed decisions, and it wasn’t just amnesty.
Yes he is. That is why the GOPe wants to use him. Makes me ill.
The TEA Party came into existence during Bush’s presidency - it was actually a protest over his policies which spilled over into the Obama administration.
You gotta love it
Know how Peterman got his start? In the Peace Corp. Clothing the naked natives of Bantu Besh.
Yes. The pygmy pullover.
“corroded rectum of the two party system” —> Nails it!
I am not much impressed with so called TEA Party “founders”.
For the most part, they’ve all been mostly concerned about what the TEA popularity can do for THEM....JennyBeth Martin, Sal Russo, etc.
The TEA Party is We the Taxed Enough People....not any *leaders*.
To use the TEAnami as a springboard to a paying gig, is just contemptible, in my book.
The conservatives to whom Ross Perot did not appeal were those who thought GHWB might be elected - and that Perot would not. They were wrong about the former, right about the latter.
But nobody makes the case that this time's crop of candidates is really worse than those in previous years.
Is it just more emoting, or are they really a step down from candidates in past elections?
Wouldn’t it be fun watching the debate without Trump??? They’d all agree with each other...
Me...I proudly voted for Perot twice...Sure, he had some negatives but they were far better than the negatives of daddy Bush and Clinton...
And yes, I support Trump...Like Trump, Perot was 'America First'...
That didn't resonate with everyone because at that time it was just a vision of what was coming down the pike...Thru the primaries after that there were some America First contenders, ie., Tancredo, Buchanan, a couple others...
But now, it's here...We are seeing and experiencing what Perot was talking about...Trump will be our last warning...
Do a little more homework on Dana...she’s changed a lot since 2011...
I’d count that token with the pygmies too, regardless of his career. He wouldn’t have gotten this far in the campaign if he was voicing his ideas from a white face.
If you live in the soviet Northeast and you vote Republican; you HAVE voted for a liberal.
