Either ISIS is all bad/evil and should be attacked even if they fight Obama's enemies or Obama is full of bullshit.

No, I don't 'want' them to rule anything. I think both they and your pals in Russia should be stopped in their tracks. I was just pointing out that Russia would be an enormous threat to us (the USA) and our allies should they grab control of Syria. They already have Iran as a puppet.
They would benefit greatly from the wealth of oil and other natural resources in that region of the world, as well as from the strategic new military positions they would hold.
And, with the massive new military base they are building on their border with Ukraine, they are about ready for a full-scale invasion of that country, as part of their quest to regain territories in eastern Europe
Then there is the matter of their increasing ties with the ChiComs, where they are building a major seaport together. They (Russia and China) have been conducting joint war games for about a decade in preparation for war with the West. I have a good feeling which side YOU and some of your comrades here will be on if that world war should ever take place.
They also have close military alliances with Marxist dictatorships in Latin America (Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba...).

The only reason the Russians are going in now is because the Administration is trying to Topple the Assad.
