During the rare moments when Stephen Colbert wasn’t talking over him, Jeb! Bush said a couple of things the other night that go a long way to explaining why, with enough campaign cash to pay off the national debt and buy every adult in the lower-48 a Prius, Jeb!’s support as measured in the polls is stuck in the mid-single-digits.
Warning: You should be sitting down for this.
“I don’t think Barack Obama has bad motives,” Jeb! said. “I just think he’s wrong on a lot of issues.”

I also think if he had raised some doubts, concerns, about Iraq, the war, etc., he would have been met with applause. GW couldn’t possibly have known how things would go. And he was always so polite, never defending himself against the relentless media onslaught...
But Jeb said that GW didn’t cut spending enough.... that was a wimpy answer, IMO. Doesn’t he realize why GW (unfairly!!) was so hated by the left?

And Sarah turned around and stabbed Arizona in the back by making campaign ads for Juan McCain in 2010. We had him on the ledge and she pulled him back. I still haven’t forgiven her for that.
I proudly voted for GHWB and GWB but that is the last vote I will cast for a Bush. Enough is enough.
If I were King, I would command that no one who has any relative who has held any office, even dog catcher, is eligible for any office in the land.
