Nashville has gone from 80% non Hispanic white in 1970 to around 52% now
Romney got around 60-65% of that 52% of whites which is obviously not enough when the rest of the electorate votes 90-95% dem
Even if whites in Nashville voted like Mississippi or Alabama....90% for GOP

I'll add one more -- and this ought to hit home for you -- both have adjacent counties named Williamson. And if you're a Christian Conservative living in the vicinity of either city, Williamson County is the place to be.
