Florida mother-of-four who ditched her family to join the Occupy Wall Street protest loses police brutality suit
The Florida mom who left her banker husband and four kids to join the Occupy Wall Street protest just lost in court after a jury rejected her claims that police officers violently arrested her during a 2011 protest.
Stacey Hessler sued the city of New York in 2013, claiming that NYPD cops dragged her around by her dreadlocks when she was being arrested.
However, attorneys for the city said that the 42-year-old woman blocked pedestrian traffic and refused to move when the officers politely asked her to create space.
The attorneys said that Hessler tried to escape when officers were moving to arrest her.

I remember walking by Zuchatti Park every morning on my way to work and seeing these miscreants in “their” camps. One morning when I was walking by, the miscreants, all of their crap, and their stench were gone! Surrounding the park shoulder to shoulder were hundreds of NYCPD officers. I caught the attention of a couple of them and said “thank you!” They smiled and nodded (almost as if they were not supposed to publicly display acknowledgment of gratitude...). They knew that real Americans supported them and what they did.
I’m surprised that the miscreants/communists haven’t tried to pull something like this again with their buddy “Big Bird” in the mayor’s office. That POS would probably March with them in solidarity!

I imagine her husband’s employer was not to crazy about her involvement. I think she could be a liability to his career advancement. Did she go back to her family when the protest shut down?

Friendly advice to the banker husband: Get rid of your loser wife and find a real woman who’s in tune with reality and who will be a good example for your kids.

Her leaving him was probably the cheapest way he could have gotten rid of her. Hopefully he divorced her immediately on grounds of abandonment, kept the kids, and gave her no alimony.

She got a cash settlement of $85,000.

CASH SETTLEMENT? There’s no way I would ever have settled. She can be dragged to court to lose and not get a dime. Abandoned her 4 kids and banker husband that I’m sure provided for her for years and years. LOL no way. If I lost the money would be lost, everything would have been. Just to spite this evil stupid woman messing with her families lives like that.
