In a vote of 269-162, the House of Representatives rejected the approval of the White Houses nuclear agreement with Iran. Every Republican except one voted against it, while they managed to get 25 Democrats on board as well.

Today's vote may prove to be just a temporary setback for the Obama administration. Thursday night, the Senate voted to reject a GOP-led disapproval resolution. Even if it had passed, the president has enough votes to use his veto power.
Several House members have voiced their opposition to the deal, including Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), who wrote a blistering op-ed against it on Friday:
"As our world grows more dangerous and unstable each month, trusting a violent Iranian regime that has been nothing but hostile to America is an error we cannot afford to make."
Guy had a suggestion for GOP leadership today, urging them to not "simply shrug and give up," but play hardball.
Final note: Social media users noted Thursday's victory for the White House comes at a tragically ironic time -- the eve of September 11.
On the Eve of #september11 American leadership in Washington is working hard to arm the enemy. #IranDeal— Estevan (@mrlucky1) September 10, 2015
The #IranDeal is a testament to human beings' short memories; it only took 14 years to completely disregard the lessons of #September11 '01.— Matt Rooney (@MattRooneyNJ) September 8, 2015
But that takes a ratification vote requiring a 2/3 majority to approve it.
Only a properly ratified treaty, or a counter resolution/act in Congress therefore could undo the sanction, which is currently US law.
Anyhow, strong leaders in the House and senate would make this clear and indicate that any move by Obama to suspend US law on his own authority, without a ratified Treaty, or a Act of Congress, will be treated for the treason it is and articles of impeachment will be immediately put before the Congress.
THAT is how you must deal with an anti-American like Obama over this deal.
Sadly, we do not have such leaders in the House and Senate. We have some members who are...but the leadership is feckless and is playing political games and is unwilling to stand.
Massie:
“I voted present. Pursuant to the Constitution, treaties must be approved by a 2/3 concurrence of the Senate. As a member of the House of Representatives, I have no authority to approve a treaty.”
He’s correct, but nobody recognizes the treaty clause right now. A present vote is a vote for giving Obama the power to ratify the deal.
Today, the House of Representatives passed the U.S.-Israel Strategic Partnership Act by a 410-1 vote. The lone dissenting voice was Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY).

*rolling eyes*
Since Bob Corker, Mitch McConnell, and EVERY SENATOR EXCEPT TOM COTTON stabbed America in the back.
I am sure someone knows how to find them. Senate votes are easier to find though than House votes
<3 <3 Kaslin :D
Now get them to vote Articles of Impeachment, bet you can’t.
Show votes are such fun.
Well the Corker bill did exactly that and only one Senator voted against it. Tom Cotton of Arkansas.
There are 246 Republicans in the House and 188 democrats. The House votes 269-169 with one Present against approving the Iran nuclear deal. The 162 that voted for the deal were all rats.
The best solution would be term limits
I’d rather have that arrogant pos sentenced for life plus 1000 years to Fort Leavenworth prison
“If man descended from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?” Geo. Carlin
I could not agree more, but unfortunately that is extremely improbable.
Carlin was a witty guy.
But voting the House members all out at once is probable?
Aren’t liberals who believe that man descended from Apes? I have no problem if they believe their ancestors were Apes
When Iran goes nuclear next year it will finish off the Democratic Party.
