Although illegal aliens impose a heavy burden on taxpayers, legal permanent residents are even more likely to be enamored of public welfare programs, according to Steven Camarota, the author of one of the reports and director of research at the respected nonpartisan Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

"Welfare use by illegal immigrant households is certainly a concern, but the bigger issue is welfare use by legal immigrants," said Camarota.

Welfare use by population was 87% of illegal immigrant households, and 52% of citizens. That’s what I was referring to.

Like I say, we already have enough of our own moochers and criminals. We don’t need to import more.

BTW, when you see something like “respected nonpartisan Center for Immigration Studies (CIS)”, that is code for a leftist or a uniparty operation. Ask yourself, “respected by whom?” There is no institution in America that is “nonpartisan” anymore and very few that deserve respect. They call leftist news channels/programs “nonpartisan’, too. They call Fox, “right wing.” Politically correct code language...
