Although illegal aliens impose a heavy burden on taxpayers, legal permanent residents are even more likely to be enamored of public welfare programs, according to Steven Camarota, the author of one of the reports and director of research at the respected nonpartisan Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

Like I say, we already have enough of our own moochers and criminals. We don’t need to import more.

BTW, when you see something like “respected nonpartisan Center for Immigration Studies (CIS)”, that is code for a leftist or a uniparty operation. Ask yourself, “respected by whom?” There is no institution in America that is “nonpartisan” anymore and very few that deserve respect. They call leftist news channels/programs “nonpartisan’, too. They call Fox, “right wing.” Politically correct code language...

I have worked with CIS on immigration issues. They are a conservative immigration think tank, the only think tank of any stripe that is totally dedicated to immigration. Mark Krikorian and Steve Camarota work closely with Jeff Sessions, Steve King, etc. They also testify regularly before Congress.

CIS is non-partisan for tax purposes, but they lean heavily conservative. I donate to them every year.
