Donald Trump, in case you havent noticed, loves to say ridiculous things. Saying ridiculous things is the secret to his media success. He got famous, after all, by humiliating and firing people on national television.
Trumps 2016 presidential campaign has been no different. Earlier this week, he decided to attack Carly Fiorinas personal appearance during an interview with Rolling Stone:
When the anchor throws to Carly Fiorina for her reaction to Trumps momentum, Trumps expression sours in schoolboy disgust as the camera bores in on Fiorina. Look at that face! he cries. Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?! The laughter grows halting and faint behind him. I mean, shes a woman, and Im not sposedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?

When was the last joke Jerry made of obama...?
He understands the plantation he is on.
I think he was famous long before YOU were, Jerry...
The GOP establishment thinks undermining Trump is to smoosh up to him.
In other words, kill him with kindness since negative attacks don’t work and make his opponents look small.
Let Trump destroy himself and while he’s at it, don’t help.
That is if Trump is inclined to cooperate, it just might have a prayer of succeeding in bringing him down.
I wouldn’t bet the Trump Tower on it though.
If you dig at the personal level....seeking out ten guys in a pub and just ask them their humble view....I think most would they’d like for a real guy to walk into the White House and literally start firing people...left and right.
It’s not so much about Trump himself. It’s about people from both sides of the aisle (Democrats and Republicans) who fed up with the fake nature of DC and politics. It’s mostly theater-like performances, news media slants from all angles, and fake agendas which don’t really accomplish much of anything.
So, Trump is the answer to the solution. Fire EPA managers...IRS thugs....CIA analysts who can’t do the job...on and on and on.
Here’s the odd thing. If Trump makes it through eight years....how exactly will we measure the resumes of future guys running for President? If a guy has a eight-line resume with no executive background, will we ever go back and vote for such a guy? I think Trump might reset the entire clock...both parties would be unable to dig up another Obama-like character and hustle him through with public support.
Jerry Seinfeld?
The establishment is really rolling out the big guns.
Who’s next—Miss Piggy?
Well, she could use some help. Make-up? Something.
Keep in mind that this is not Seinfeld speaking - it’s the author of this article taking what Seinfeld said about handling hecklers.
How the two equate (Trump and a heckler) is quite a stretch. This article isn’t worth the pixels it’s written with.
He should at least.....research his jokes. Because factually, the S*$T falls apart.
I think you’re right that the only thing that can bring Trump down is Trump. I don’t agree that the GOP e has that strategy. I think they’re playing into Trump’s hands from the opposite direction for the most part.
As for betting the Trump Tower - at this point, I wouldn’t bet it either way on whether Trump brings himself down or not.
Isn’t Seinfeld’s wife the one pushing the Bernie tshirts?
Written by a former Perry aide.
Jerry actually didn’t say anything about Trump at all here.
The goofus writing the piece, a cofounder of the site on which it is published, is a former aide to Rick Perry.
The writer dragged out Seinfeld’s old explanation of how he handles hecklers and the writer tried to turn it into advice for handling Trump.
A grotesquely misleading title and a lame article.
Hmm, point taken.
How 'bout a paper bag with the US flag printed on it?
Or several.
:-)
(I am an older woman, and not all that attractive, so I think I console myself that BEAUTY has to come from within!)
Pretty childish of you
R2z is an older geezer who tries not to look in the mirror while brushing his teeth. (There goes that 3rd person again!)
I’m beyond help, I confess. Carly is right in there with me.
Old is one thing. Pretending to be good-looking while running for President is another matter.
But she has dropped to about 3% again.
