The terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 should have been a rude awakening from the dogmatic slumbers of the previous decade. Instead, after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the West went on a vacation from history. The seeming triumph of liberal democracy and free-market capitalism convinced many that all we had left to do was to oversee the inevitable triumph of the Western paradigm throughout the world. Unfortunately, the “world,” especially the Islamic ummah, had other plans, ones that our own bad ideas and cultural dogmas have advanced.

This country is incapable of learning. Inability to learn begins in public school.
Been saying that here at FR since 9/11/01. Got flamed a lot for it, but as time passes, it is evident that this will be the only way we will be able to survive.
They flew occupied planes into occupied buildings and got to be America’s latest and greatest victim group, entitled to all the privileges that go with victimhood.
Actually, ‘the unlearned lesson of 9/11/2001’, was first presented as a syllabus (since we are couching this in academic terms), in the FIRST attack on The World Trade Center, in 1993, with the truck bomb in the basement parking garage UNDERNEATH that same place.
We didn’t take appropriate notice, with another ineffectual Democrat in the People’s House, at the time.
Thankfully that will all change after next year!
In Saudi Arabia there is a city. And in that city is a meteorite. And that meteorite is attached to the side of a small, square building.
Each year, Muslims come from all over the planet to walk in slow circles around that meteorite, in the hope of getting close enough to place their lips upon its shiny surface.
When the day comes that that meteorite has been pulverized into dust, and the building to which is attached has been pulverized into dust, and the city where that building is located has been pulverized into dust — then I might begin thinking about possibly forgiving Islam and the Muslims for 9/11.
nothing will change until congress feels the pain of we the people who see the deliberate destruction of America by the current administration and like thinkers...
meantime they line their pockets and dont care and dont listen...
I learned that liberals hate us for trying to prevent a repeat.
No More red blood for blue cities.
