...Pittsburgh Steelers coaches were getting the Patriots' broadcast over their headsets during Thursday night's game. The Patriots' coach-to-coach headsets were shut off intermittently, the NFL told Tafoya.
NFL head of security Jeff Miller was shown on camera while Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth were discussing the mishap.
Blake Jones, NFL director of football operations, went down to the field to help out with the headsets.
The league described the reception problem as "intermittent" and it was believed to be resolved early in the second quarter. Because it was not a complete system failure, New England's coaches were not required to shut down their headsets during the repairs.

BS, they are living rent free in everyone head now.
Gilligan.
Just because you are dishonest and operate that way, don’t project it onto others.
Yep.
That would be up to the league (The NFL for the mental midgets who don’t pay attention to details) who is in charge of supplying, setting up, and administering the system.
If they deemed it a problem, they should have addressed it. If that is the case, they should have just stopped the game for 15 seconds, informed the head coaches, and shut the system off. I am sure the Patriots would have made no fuss at all, they wouldn’t have cried, bitched, and moaned like the idiots who are making a case out of it.
But when was the last time the NFL addressed anything correctly?
That’s actually basically the NFL procedure, if one’s team’s headsets are out the other has to turn their off. BUT there’s two significant provisos to that rule:
1 the problem has to be consistent, last night’s problem was intermittent
2 only one team has the problem, according to Belichick their headset were having the same issue
With both teams reporting having the same intermittent problem the league considers it “fair” and tries to fix the problem without making anybody turn their set off.
It doesn’t seem too complicated to me, but it is apparently beyond the many mental defectives who can’t understand it.
Every single person climbing on this is sleeping in the same bed as the people who pull out a race or gender card at every turn to excuse their inability to do their job.
Now I will say this is one of those issues that NFL needs to remember they make more money than the film industry and just fix it. Headset issues have a long history in the game, and while everybody likes to jump up and down when it happens in NE you can guarantee at least 1 other game this weekend will have issues. Much like their excuses for not having goal line and sideline cameras at each stadium to use for reviews the league needs to internalize that they make $15 billion a year and just damn well fix it already.
I agree 100%.
Goal line cameras? Who would suggest such a thing?
Hahhahaha! That’s great!
I heard the Patriots have purchased a state of the art space satellite from where they can jam all NFL signals, really /s
I play a Lifetime Pats fan and you?
If I was the Steelers coach, I’d have a flunky bring out some cell phones and dare the NFL to penalize me.
Hey Kev
Didja know that the NFL ordered helmets this year that are NOT waterproof?
We only got about 2 inches of rain between 8AM and midnight.
Good for us!
