I don't even begin to know how you'd do that - what kind of paper trail could there possibly be, let alone one that could be trusted?

To the best of my knowledge, the vast majority of Syria's Jews left in 1948 and 1949. Many came to the US, most of the rest to Israel (some in Mexico, I know). Virtually all of the rest left by the end of 1967.
