Trump is here to clear a path.

So he's doing all this to play second banana? I don't know where all you "Trump's going to drop out" dreamers are coming from, please give me ONE SINGLE CREDIBLE LINK to back up your hallucination.

And what was Trump doing with his billions all that time? Everything Trump wants to do he could have affected with his money all these years.
The reason people with money are able to keep their money is because they don't listen to knowitalls with no money telling them how they should spend it.

I can see this primary boiling down to Ted and Trump. I am not sure who might win out there,

I'd bet the farm it won't come to that. Despite differences, ultimately they both oppose the big evil: uniparty-media hegemony.

I AM betting on a cabinet position for Cruz in the coming Trump administration.

I think jeb the jerk would be in first.

I am not so sure.

The reasons given that people are okay with Trump is that he stirs in them a new patriotism, a feeling of kicking ass, a relentless negotiator to make America great again.

I do not see any of that in the presence of Jeb, so I do not see Trump supporters going to Jeb should Trump drop off.

Would they disperse though? Leaving jeb with enough moderate votes? That’s what frightens me.

Well what i mean is that I can see a Trump/ Cruz ticket. I’m not sure that a Cruz/ Trump ticket would occur, because I just don’t see Trump doing VP.

I do that that would be a very strong pro-America/ pro-American ticket.

I think that these are two good men, honestly.

If Sen Cruz had not attended an IVY League school he would be a 10/10 candidate.

I don't know.

I do have inclinations.

I think those who would support Jeb already are on record as having done so.

Same with all the others, for whatever reason, real or perceived, they have their guy (or gal).

So, would they (and we) not consider the candidate's views and plans, as well as their personal charisma, their personality, as a drawing force?

Then, look out there and see who matches closely with whom, and notice that Jeb really does not match up with Trump closely at all.

I would place hard cash on Most of trump's supporters gravitating onto someone other than Jeb at this point in time.

There’s the rub! Would Cruz have been frontrunner without Trump?

Would Carson, Huckabee and Cruz have split those votes, leaving someone we dont want in the lead?

The what ifs of politics.

Well, I guess they do poll for second choice, I will have to look that up.

Well what i mean is that I can see a Trump/ Cruz ticket.

I hope not.

VP is for losers. Agnew. Gore. Johnson except Kennedy got shot dead. Frikkin' Walter Frederick "Fritz" Mondale for cripes sake.

Sundance keeps saying there are 18 GOP candidates and I can only come up with 17. Can anyone tell me who #18 is?

I really don't know who shoulda coulda, especially with 17 candidates!

That being said, Cruz definitely has a whole can of whupazz on his shelf when the time comes.

I believe trump draws people across the board. A candidate that we have not seen for a long time, someone who wants to make America great again, not simply win one for their party.

I believe a whole chunk of his supporters support him because he speaks for the country, not for the ideology of one particular party.

I do not know what will be the outcome, but it is definitely an E ticket ride.

Hah, well it’s hard to argue with that evidence.

I don’t think that Cruz is a loser by any means. I’m not sure that he has what it takes to win the 2016 nomination, but maybe he does, I don’t know.

Today was a very good day for him, he seemed really sharp at the rally and very sharp on Hannity. He was impressive to me.

This primary still has a long way to go, so maybe he can win it.

I tell you, I think he is doing THE RIGHT THING coming out hard against this Iran deal.

I cannot believe that my country is making a treaty with this stinking terrorist state that will allow it to get nukes.

I mean I cannot believe it at all.

I am sitting here watching a soldier on Me-gyna Kelly’s show who had his face blown to smithereens by an Iranian EFP, and obviously he is against this treaty, and I cannot understand for the life of me how anyone could before for giving the people who did this to this brave man ANYTHING AT ALL much less 150 billion and nukes.

She called him beautiful, and I could tell that got to him, and it got to me too. He is beautiful, and what my country is doing right now is just plain ugly and evil.

This needs to be stopped.

I appreciate what you did today, Ted Cruz.

Yes. I have Trump, Jindal, Fiorina, Graham, Christie, Perry, Carson, Pataki, Paul, Bush, Cruz, Santorum, Walker, Rubio, Huckabee, Kasich, and Gilmore. Who am I missing?

I appreciate what you did today, Ted Cruz.

I suspect that I think nearly as highly of Cruz as you do. If it weren't for Trump, it seems he'd be our only hope, and may ultimately be better than Trump.

My biggest problem is how he was taken in my McConnell when I wasn't. After the 2014 election perfidy by the senate leadership, how much more evidence did he need?

And, of course, the CFR and Goldman Sachs connection is troubling.

I await more from the candidates.

Saw a list (of 18) a few days ago, and it seemed reasoned. I didn’t scrutinize it closely.

Check this page out.

It lists a number of folks I’ve never even heard of. Perhaps there’s a sleeper in there.

I didn’t spot one after looking through it a couple of times.
