Every nation in the world seems to want to take them in except the Muslim nations. Why would that be? 75 % of the ‘displaced’ people seem to be young Muslim men. An advanced guard for the Muzzies in their war on the Great Satan?

Not the first time. A lot of people with Middle Eastern ancestry in Latin America. Shakira and Selma Hayek among them. They’re referred to as Los Turcos. Basically refugees from the Ottoman Empire a century ago.
Maybe we should work out a deal with the Mexicans to stop the assault at their southern border. Since their economy would collapse without the money sent home from the U.S.
No toilet paper, food is scarce and they’ll have to take jobs chopping trails through the jungle to fruit plantations at slave wages, or doing domestic chores for room and board in a hut at the mansion of some drug lord and/or corrupt politician. They probably wish they’d stayed in Syria and fought for what they wanted there...
Yes, most were Lebanese Christians though, not Muslims. They are very prosperous - I think the richest man in the world is Mexican Carlos Slim and he is a Lebanese.
As the Ottoman empire was falling apart the Turks went crazy killing Christians. Los Turcos just meant they were form the Turkish empire not that they were actual ethnic Turks.
The Lebanese and Syrians I have known,whose forefathers came 2 generations ago,were all Christians.

Lots of Syrians and Lebanese where I live. Nearly all Christians. They had settled near a Maronite Church, which has since moved to a new building a few miles away.
Yes, authorities in those countries called them Los Turcos because they entered on Turkish passports.
