The AOL/HuffPuff News is reporting this as "Trump said he won't show up if the money wasn't donated by CNN"

I got a little upset because I don't like threats or ultimations.

I now see the entire letter here on FR and see no such threat.

INCREDIBLE, VILE, FALSE, FAKE REPORTING. They made a WHOLE SENTENCE UP! I hope Trump is aware of this.

Thanks to freepers above for posting Trump's entire letter.

Leni

If CNN was smart, they would use it as the first step in stealing Fox’s market share.

Only Trump could request this - for two reasons:

1). He is THE major draw at the debates, no matter what network they are on.

2). He is the ONLY candidate self-funding his campaign. For any other candidate to do this would come across as hypocritical. Plus he’s donated hundreds of thousands of his dollars to veterans over the years.

Game. Set. Match!

“Looks like CNN is price gouging..”

No. No one is being forced to pay the price. This is at least 50 percent entertainment.

nice.

I can see why so many so strongly support Trump. He is a master at this sort of thing.

...

Once again, he points at the bleachers and hits it out of the park.

Leftism always “trumps” intelligence at CNN and the three letter networks.

And he’s not requesting CNN do anything that he hasn’t done. He’s already donated tons of money to veterans. So, why not CNN?

you can not put a liberal in an awkward position- it’s impossible- even when they are caught red handed wiping their hard-drive clean to destroy evidence of wrong doing

Liberals don’t even know the definition of the word shame

"So, if CNN won’t, will DT want to be compensated directly for his appearance on CNN? Sounds like it."

How did you come up with that?

He clearly states he is is self funding his campaign and thinks CNN should do the debate as a public service.

The press was even nastier during the ‘83 war in Lebanon.

Still, at least the press came to the front during the 90-91 war.

I only saw one chaplain show up once between the time the bombing started until three days after we halted in Kuwait. Nearly all the chaplaincy stayed in the rear with the gear. I spent a lot of time in the 90s trying to persuade young pastors in civilian life to go meet the need for sincere pastoral guidance in the militarily.

Cute. No sarc Tag, so I assume you really dislike Trump.

The Trump Foundation, run by one of Donald’s Sons, already Contributes and Raises Millions of Dollars for numerous Veteran Organizations as well as many other causes.

I assume that they contribute much more than the Clinton Foundation does, and the Clintons Extort money from their so called Contributors instead of spending their own $$$.

Much like Rush Limbaugh, The Trump Foundation does not seek Publicity for their Charity work.

Maybe you should send The Donald a Letter outlining your idea of what he should do with his Money. While you’re at it, send a Letter to the Clinton Foundation as well.

Not to go off subject, but should we assume you are a Monthly Donor to Free Republic?

I didn’t realize that we had any CNN (Clinton News Network)Supporters here on FR. Every day brings a new surprise. LOL

He has formulated a perfect trap for CNN, for when the Hewitt types treat him abominably with entrapment questions.

CNN would chew him up, regardless, but his decency to suggest this charitable action will take the fall out for their behavior and on their heads.

Did you notice my post was a question? You're wanting to know how I came up with a question? Why?

CNN will be between a rock and a hard place, as FOX ran right to the bank to cash in on their debate, leaving CNN needing this windfall to compete against them.

Something the Media has been doing to Conservatives and Republicans for Decades.

If CNN won’t give profit to vets then Trump can say pay me or I won’t show and I will donate the money to vets.

Why aren't DT and certain other attractive candidates receiving compensation for appearing in these televised "debates"? It's like college athletes getting no share of the proceeds from the NCAA; just a worthless "education".
