Maybe Biden can do one of those DirectTV ads: "Hi, I'm Joe Biden. And I'm Creepy Joe Biden" . . .
On this evening's Hardball, Cook Report editor Amy Walter revealed that during a South Carolina event, Joe Biden kissed her mother, who had never before met him, on the lips. Walter said that her mother's reaction was "okay well, there we go." Chris Matthews flew to Biden's defense: "that's a very Philly thing [Biden's not from Philly]. Nothing wrong with it. Just very direct and very loving." Need we say that if a Republican candidate had smooched an unsuspecting woman on the lips, the calls for his immediate withdrawal from the race would be echoing through the MSM halls? Bob Packwood, anyone?

The weird weird world of Joe Biden.
About fifteen years ago my sibs and I moved our mother from an assisted living home in Philly to one near Dover, Delaware, to be nearer one of my sisters who could spend more time with her there - she had been a life-long Republican like my father but at ninety was teetering on the edge of dementia and exhibited at various times the memory and cognitive deficits that come with it - one day my wife and I went for a visit and spied sitting on her windowsill a small canvas carryall bag with a big blue “JOE!” across sides - suspiciously I asked where it had come from - “Oh”, she said (approximately), “they took us to the fair the other day and we met this really nice man who talked to us and gave us all those bags to remember him” - my suspicions were confirmed when I called my sister that night and found out that the “Joe” who had charmed my mother and some of her friends at the fair was Senator Joe Biden - not a kiss on the lips, but he does have a way with the ladies.....
Have heard that questions asked before. I do not know.
However, this one is not posted much and it leads me to a question. Can Joe Biden hold his water?
