STURGIS, S.D. A South Dakota saloon that billed itself as the worlds largest biker bar and was the subject of a reality TV show was destroyed early Tuesday by a fire that may have gained momentum when it hit an adjoining distillery containing 500 gallons of grain alcohol.
Volunteer firefighters found heavy smoke when they responded to the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis around 12:30 a.m., and the main building was gutted less than three hours later. No injuries were reported.
The bar, which featured such amenities as zip lines, musical stages and rental cabins, had been the subject of the truTV series Full Throttle Saloon, which aired for several seasons starting in 2009.

I sincerely hope that no t!ts were scorched in the filming of this disaster.
Nah, the bikers would’ve just pissed out.

The song Roadhouse Blues by the Doors was heard playing throughout the following day.
“Roadhouse Blues”
Yeah, keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel
Keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel
Yeah, we’re goin’ to the Roadhouse
We’re gonna have a real
Good time
Yeah, back at the Roadhouse they got some bungalows

And that’s for the people

Greek lightning perhaps. I can’t imagine a bar that big having enough customers during most of the year to make it profitable.
That must be why they call it firewater
zip lines?
was this the one about the guy who won the lottery and opened this bar, surrounded himself with his buddies and proceed to do whatever the heck he wanted to do with it?
Yeah for the Annual Bike Rally in August in Sturgis
Place was only open April-November.
“who won the lottery and opened this bar”
No, This guy’s business partner is Jesse James Dupree, lead singer, and founder of the rock group Jackyl.
Last I heard Jesse was also the Mayor of Sturgis, SD.
Didn’t another large nightclub named Gilley’s burn, too? Odd...
What a tragedy! 500 gallon of liquor. Lost. Never to be drunk.
I’m pretty choked up over it.
I was at Sturgis in 09’. I’d rather be there than Burning Man. Everyday you know you’re on the presence of men, not fags, libtards and hippies.
I dont remember much about the booze but the women. Dude...
That’s a cartoon I missed...and I think maybe I’m glad I did.
I do have to admit a guilty indulgence of being an Archer fan.
Those chicks were very well worn.
