I got rid of my last one, she grew a little ugly and could never be trained to leave the toilet seat up.
I also remember telling her there was no way come night time, I could never kiss the lips that chewed my ass all day.
Hell, if I’d shot her when I first wanted, I’d be out by now. Instead, she took me to the cleaners legally/financially, so no, I wont be looking for another any time soon.
There can be many issues, but you get it already. Its called hypergamy (your first tag). And in that SWPL, urban, they can end up as a bitter cat lady.
Why would the “woman of today” want to limit herself by forming a relationship with a nasty, mean, smelly man?
I read an article yesterday on the Huffington Post (please mod do not delete me-—research behind enemy lines) and they bemoaned they missed old school dating.
In other words, they wanted gentlemen. Too bad they aren’t ladies to deserve them.
I wonder why there is a 35 pt female-male gap in the college population. The male population has a slightly higher mean-IQ than the female population, so if our boys are not going to college at the same rate as our girls, there are a great deal many boys whose potential we are not developing.
A guy isn’t above marrying someone below his economic class, but I would think that most professional women are not interested in men below their economic class.

Feminism killed the notion of relationships.
The more interesting thing about the comparative IQ distributions is the standard deviation. Men are much more spread out than women. More men are Einsteins but more men have low IQs.
Our grandmothers and great-grandmothers were super women. They set high standards for themselves, and men were complimented by their attention. They often received several offers of marriage and could choose the most worthy of them. Because this man would be their partner for life and the father of her children, they were careful to weigh character as well as material considerations. These marriages lasted and were blessed.
Where did we go so wrong?
Perfect guy 20-30 yr old biker with a Phd, his own business with a million in the bank and with looks like a young Brad Pitt and is 6'5".

I read somewhere that men are going to college at about the same rate today that they were 45 years ago. The difference is that women are going to college at approximately twice the rate they were 45 years ago.
Maureen Dowd being a case in point.
