Hillary Clinton continues on the defensive about the private, home brewed email server she used while Secretary of State. On Monday, Clinton said she had no need to apologize because "what I did what allowed."
In an interview with The Associated Press during a Labor Day campaign swing through Iowa, the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination also said the lingering questions about her email practices while serving as President Barack Obama's first secretary of state have not damaged her campaign.
"Not at all. It's a distraction, certainly," Clinton said. "But it hasn't in any way affected the plan for our campaign, the efforts we're making to organize here in Iowa and elsewhere in the country. And I still feel very confident about the organization and the message that my campaign is putting out."
Hillary went on to say that the email scandal has not had a much of an impact on her campaign plan. "As the person who has been at the center of it, not very much," Clinton said. "I have worked really hard this summer, sticking to my game plan about how I wanted to sort of reintroduce myself to the American people."
Asked Monday by the AP why she won't directly apologize, Clinton said: "What I did was allowed. It was allowed by the State Department. The State Department has confirmed that.
"I did not send or receive any information marked classified," Clinton said. "I take the responsibilities of handling classified materials very seriously and did so."

It all depends on what the meaning of “allowed” is. Who gets to define it depends on who is in control, nothing more and nothing less (to paraphrase the Cheshire Cat).
She is relying on the stupidity of the public and the failure of the media to get the facts straight. The top governmental agency, with the very most sensitive information does not allow this. Her arrogance and falsifying and rubbing shoulders with terrorists and taking money from Jihadists are a way of life for her.

No, Hillary, it wasn’t. It’s illegal to conduct government business by a government employee on a non-government email account, classified or not. Period.

She is a rotten to the core “human being.” She and her husband have used politics to enrich themselves. This is simply about being able to continue to amass their ill-gotten fortune using public office to do so. It would be equally destructive to both deny her the presidency and take all their money. She would have to be on suicide watch.
If someone gave Hillary ‘permission’ that person needs to step forward.
Otherwise we can all assume this is one more Hillary LIE.

If I recall correctly, messages were NOT marked “classified”.
They were either marked “unclassified”, (sometimes abbreviated “unclas”), “Confidential”, “Secret”, or “Top Secret”.

On Page 547 of Hard Choices Hillary assured us that, as Secretary of State, she was very aware of cyber security threats, including to personal computers.Well worth a click, IMHO.
