Speaking at a Labor Day rally in Hampton, Ill., today Hillary Clinton threatened to imprison employers for “wage theft.”
“We’re going to go back to enforcing labor laws,” Clinton said. “I’m going to make sure that some employers go to jail for wage theft and all the other abuses that they engage in.”
“And we are going to make it harder and harder to stop what should be the right of every American: to join a union and bargain collectively through that union,” she continued. “But, I’ll tell you, we’ve got a fight on our hands.”
The presumed 2016 Democratic candidate also endorsed President Obama’s executive order mandating government contractors provide employees “paid leave.”
“I was very proud that President Obama said today he is going to require federal contractors to provide seven days of earned paid sick leave,” she said. “And he’s going to fight for paid family leave, something that I’ve been fighting for for 30 years and we’re going to get it done. It’s not right to treat working people as though they don’t have other responsibilities.”
The more desperate her campaign becomes, and the closer she comes to having to deal with a somewhat ordinary life, the more radical her rhetoric will become.
It gives a little hope to see Hillary and Go To Jail in the same sentence. Has a ring to it.

This should go a long way towards helping the workers. The boss is in jail. No job. Looks like we’ll be getting a whole new batch of artists, poets and guitar players.
How about jail some for hiring illegals? That would be enforcing the law right?

Sounds like Hillary has been re-reading “Das Capital”. Marx asserted that the wealth of the capitalist, ie, employers, resulted from their withholding wealth rightfully belonging to the workers by paying them less than the fair value for their work. Anyone paying less than a “living wage” would be guilty of “wage theft”.
Shelling out $100 mil to the Baraq Obama Foundation for a POTUS pardon in Jan 2017 will hurt nearly as much as going to jail, LOL.
What about immigration laws and employers who hire foreign invaders? What about the same lawless intruders who jump on our welfare gravy train?
No matter the choice, I predict the American people will make the WRONG one.
