Jeb Bush's pro-gun conservative credentials took a blow on Tuesday as a Telegraph survey showed he is one of the only Republican presidential candidates who does not own a gun.
Of the 17 Republican hopefuls vying to lead their party into next year's election only Mr Bush and two other candidates do not have their own firearms.
Chris Christie, the governor of New Jersey, does not own a gun while Carly Fiorina, a former business executive and the only woman in the race, has six guns in her house but they belong to her husband.

Thanks. I was having a tough time with that one, too. Thought maybe it was just me being overly critical.
Probably a good thing.
Journalism school apparently doesn’t include teaching grammar....................
Oh please! Owning a gun is quite unnecessary when he can hire all the people he wants who do and who carry them on his behalf! I suppose that for Liberals this is supposed to be a plus for him.
But I bet Carly knows how to use them.
I remember G. Gordon Liddy, the Watergate figure who was later a conservative talk show host, being asked if he owned any guns. (Since he'd been in prison, he couldn't.) "Mrs. Liddy owns several," he said, "which she keeps on my side of the bed."
Instead he owns a security force.
Who on earth would want someone else to carry a gun for them?
How can one build that all important romantic relationship with a firearm (especially the Sig Sauer gender) when someone else is holding it tightly and passionately not to mention sleeping with it. Come on! Give me a break this morning.
Most rich liberals, politicians and celebretards.
Same here! I love that line.
"I can't legally own a gun. But my wife has more guns than any woman you'll ever meet!"
“Who on earth would want someone else to carry a gun for them?”
Answer: Puzzy politicians who want to capitalize on the fact that they don’t own one with other puzzy voters.
I won’t go into what I think about someone who can’t debate without sexual references. There’s your break. You’re welcome.
“I’m in no way a fan of Jeb Bush but I don’t see how owning or not owning a gun is relevant to one’s views on the Second Amendment”.
Any REAL MAN owes a gun, or two or three or four. If for nothing more than to protect his family during a burglary attempt. It takes a lunatic not to have a weapon in their house, at the minimum. I would suspect his wife is a liberal and from his actions she has feminized him well. She wears the pants in the family, that’s obvious for all to see. Same thing goes for Spanky Christie.
I wonder what, in Jeb’s past, prevents him from owning a gun, as I doubt there are any other Republicans in a state like Florida that don’t own guns (other than, again, those legally prevented from owning).
Perhaps he should COME CLEAN.
So, by that logic, Howard Stern, David Spade, Brad Pitt and..Whoopi Goldberg are "real men."
Sh'yeah.
BTW, before you ask, Life Member of the NRA for over twenty years here.
Guns confuse Jeb...along with many other things.
Maybe that is why he always sounds half-cocked.
I never cease to be amazed by folks' inability to reason.
Let's try that in symbolic logic:
Any "A" is "B".
This by no means implies that all "B" are "A".
Any "A" is "B" means that:
1) No "A" exist that are not also "B".
2) There may exist, however, "B" that are not "A".
This may also be expressed that "A" is a subset of "B".
You're welcome.
