A friend of mine has 3 kids all born a year or 2 apart and now they are starting college and he’s going crazy with the cost. I said take them out, they are not going for anything specialized like engineering, medical or legal, so pretty much all he’s paying for is leftist indoctrination after which they will graduate and have pretty much the same chance of getting a job as someone who never went. The best thing to do is get a low level job at say a company like Fedex and work their butts off. That company is fantastic, good at advancement plus they will invest in someones education if it benefits the company. There’s a lot of companies out there like that, good opportunities for advancement, 401ks, all you have to do is show you are very committed. On the other hand they can waste 6 years getting a Masters in theater or some other useless crap and find themselves in massive debt and the same position they were 6 years ago more ticked off thinking all their problems are the fault of the US. This scam that “you must go to college or you will be flipping burgers the rest of your life” is utter and complete BS. Anyone willing to work their butts off WILL be successful and it’s best to start right out of High school before you start a family.

Universities: Tops the list of what to focus on day two...

Those rat infested hell holes must be required to bring their staff into some sort of parity close to 50/50 Conservative/Liberal.

Failing that, they lose all government funding, accreditation, and anything else we can throw at them.

These college students, like many other Americans, fail to understand that Fundamentalist Muslim terrorists now threaten to destroy not only the United States but all of Western Civilization, and even fewer seem to be aware that the source of this threat is Saudi Arabia. It is almost never mentioned in the Liberal dominated news media that the Saudis have not only bankrolled these Fundamentalist Islamic terrorists, but they have also provided the bulk of its foot soldiers, leadership cadres and, of course, Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaida network.

For over forty years, the Saudis have sent out their Fundamentalist Muslim missionaries to spread their Wahabi sect of Fundamentalist Islam throughout the Mid East and around the world. In every country with Muslim populations, Saudi Madrassas (boarding schools/orphanages) have been constructed and staffed with Islamic Fundamentalist hate mongers. These Madrassas have provided a free education to any male Muslim child (females receive no education in the Muslim world) who wished to attend. In addition to a basic education, Saudi Madrassas have indoctrinated their pupils in Fundamentalist Wahabi Islam that taught them to hate all infidels (non-believers), especially the United States and Israel. These Muslim students have been taught from childhood that it is their God’s will that they endeavor to either kill or convert to Islam anyone who does not worship their God, and if they should die while obeying this edict, they will go to Heaven.

Like Arab rug merchants, Saudi hate-mongers have peddled their evil brand of Islam from the Balkans to Chechnya, Algeria, Pakistan, and Indonesia. Every place they have set up their Madrassas and indoctrinated their followers with Fundamentalist Islam, Muslims have begun to murder their non-Muslim neighbors. It is from these Saudi Madrassas that most Muslim terrorists and suicide (homicide) bombers have been recruited, and it was from these same Madrassas that the September 11 attackers came. But not for Saudi funding, these mad men would still be in their desert hovels, abusing their women, loving their livestock, and worshiping a God who has more in common with Satan than he has with the God of Judeo-Christianity.

By whom? Cheney, Bush and the Joooz?

Well, if you listen to some mainline liberal media outlets after 9-11 it was all three with heavy emphasis on those pesky "Joooz"

Didn't you hear that the "Joooz" that worked at the WTC were warned 2 days prior to not go to work on 9-11? </9-11truther>

I have a friend who has a very talented grand daughter who is going for a degree in theater costumery, or something to that effect. I cannot give my opinion, and I certainly have not been asked for it. But those are my feelings exactly. Her dad is a very hard working guy, and I hope it works out for the best. However, many of those in the arts fields, if they are lucky enough to be employed in that area end up working in sweat shop environments with little chance for advancement.

College is way over hyped, except for engineering, medicine, law, pharmacy, teaching etc. IMHO.

That said, sometimes as a student, you have to "parrot" back to the professor what he wants to hear.

This was true even when I was in school in the late '80s - early '90s. If you want a good grade in a required poli-sci or humanities course, go along with the lecturer's obvious point of view.

Of course. The left never accepted the truth about the terrorist attacks perpetrated by ROP’ers.
This way they change the way history is taught, and turn it into just retribution for evil capitalist Christian/Jewish ways by innocent dark-skinned ‘oppressed’ poor people.

Not only true in college (undergrad), but more so in grad schools and especially seminaries; hence so-called "mainstream churches" i.e. Episcopal Church USA, push gay marriage, abortion, etc.

I went to college in the 70s and saw right before my own eyes the WW2 college professors retiring and being replaced by the hippy radicals. THAT is when college starting going downhill. One scene that is crystal clear in my head is when our English professor was retiring due to poor health, every day he came in with a suit and tie. And here came his replacement, Professor Dingleberry with his beard, tie dye shirt and sandals who right off the bat, literally the first day he took over, started bashing Republicans, Nixon, talking about evil US imperialism, you name it. I stood up, said thank you, but I’m not paying you to hear that crap, and walked out. Well barely as I had a major back injury at the time ha ha. But, yeah I dropped the class same day. The 1960s produced all these leftist jackasses who took over education and it’s been a never ending cycle since. They indoctrinate the kids, the kids grow up and become professors and the process repeats.

This is extremely sad. They are not paid exorbitantly, but are very well paid for what they contribute.

Most of my engineering professors were either not at all political, or conservative. Same with the physical science profs. The math profs were just weird.

Yes, even in my day the English profs were just plain hippies.

Rosie O’Donnell’s got nothing to do with it. Hundreds of pilots , engineers, physicists and architects do. Do your homework. There is no excuse , FOURTEEN years later, for anyone with a mind to swallow the official version whole. The information is out there; maybe you can’t/don’t want to absorb it. The FIRST and LAST question that needs to be answered is WHO wired them, WITH WHAT, AND WHEN???? If this gets me booted, so be it. But it would be a shame that it was triggered by my choosing to respond to a few snarky responses to me. And yes,oh8eleven, I know that’s what you were talking about-—and I agree. One thing NO ONE can answer is the question of the controlled demolition. No one has stepped forward in the clear light of day to take “credit” or “blame” for doing it. The buildings were designed to withstand multiple attacks or accidental encounters with planes of any size. This is “9-11 101”.

the “Joooz” that worked at the WTC were warned 2 days prior to not go to work on 9-11? ....................... I’ve heard about it, but where did the warning come from? The Howard Stern Show? Was there any reference used? Moosad warning? World Jewish Press column? I posted many times that when that building was finished, I thought it was under construction at the time, but it was 79’ when Ayatollah Khomeini took over Iran, I said it was a bulls eye for terrorists. I was down the street from it on the 10th. In 84’? my daughter worked there, I told her find another job, she did. (along with a husband, and moved away from NY/NJ before it happened.)(9/11 I was watching TV news and saw the plane crash into building #2, and said; “this is no accident, as I predicted, it was just a mater of time”.

I recommend you en-roll in a reputable Mechanical/Civil Engineering curriculum at a top 20 Engineering school and complete the statics/dynamics classes and then render an opinion from something other than your sphincter!

paint the United States and its government as wholly evil and immoral

Well, even a stopped clock is right twice a day. This is one of the most evil and tyrannical governments that has ever been on the face of the earth. Its agents (e.g., Planned Parenthood, the US military, Federal law enforcement) have murdered more people that Hitler and Pol Pot combined. Yeah, the US Fed Gov is still a piker compared to Mao Tse Tung or Stalin, but hey, "fundamental transformation" will push things right along!

That being said, I don't think Fed Gov directly caused 9/11. Its negligence allowed an evil plot to become reality, though.
