On Friday’s edition of Fox News Channel’s “The Five,” occasional co-host Geraldo Rivera expressed little sympathy for the families of four Americans murdered by terrorists in Benghazi, Libya.
Panelists were discussing the “drip, drip, drip” of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails, and the scandal that was much of their focus.
“At the end of the dripping, like the fake stand-down order in Benghazi, this will be a fake scandal. It will have done its job…” Rivera started to say.
Meghan McCain, daughter of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., exploded.
“Benghazi is a fake scandal?” she cut in. “Benghazi is a fake scandal.”
Rivera answered, “Benghazi is a fake scandal in terms of…”
“Benghazi is a fake scandal,” McCain repeated. “How about the families of the…”
This time Rivera cut McCain off, and the exchange deteriorated into crosstalk.
“Don’t give me that,” Rivera said. “Don’t give me that family stuff.”
“Don’t give me that?” McCain repeated.
Eventually Greg Gutfeld cut in and brought up the anti-Muslim YouTube video that Clinton tried to pawn off on the public and the families of the four fallen Americans as the reason for the Benghazi attack.
Rivera countered that the idea that Clinton and President Barack Obama stood by and did nothing during the attack is a lie.
“The lie is the video,” Gutfeld shot back. “The lie is the video!”

One has to wonder what this ditz did to wangle this position.
I watched her and her responses seemed to be programmed by her papa’s handlers.

What a gift has Ms. McCain. She can repeat a string of nonsense the first time she hears it, take it up an octave, and even change the inflection.
We don't know that. Obama's whereabouts that night have still not been disclosed as he was preparing to go to a Las Vegas fundraiser the next morning.

Mr. Rivera, who is as much of a junior-high-school, adolescent macho-man as Mr. Beckel, can be depended upon to consistently parrot the communist line and lose his temper with those who disagree with it.
(They don’t like the Constitution because if prohibits them, for now, from imprisoning conservatives.)

So you see, a pretty low bar has been set already.
Now, for Geraldo Rivera to assert the whole Benghazi deal was a “fake” scandal, would be to believe that a simple phone call would have cleared up the whole Watergate mess back when the 37th President was still in office.
I still believe it to be poetic justice that Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, to be dogged and endlessly questioned on all the various derelictions of duty and malfeasance of office that occurred on HER watch, considering the unrelenting pursuit Herself engaged in during the run-up to the Nixon resignation.
Why didn’t she throw a chair at him (normally I am a non-violent person, but I think this calls for an exception).
Geraldo is one of the token liberals on fox with Colmes and others. Better to have the other side represented vs. how some of the other networks are.
I have tried to listen to this arse hat on local radio. He has a show on 770 AM in NYC. He starts everything with “I am a Republican and conservative” or “in my expert opinion as a lawyer.” Thereafter, he proceeds to spout liberal talking points and get the law wrong. He hasn’t practiced law a day in his life!
WRT to Benghazi caller after caller will point out facts to him and he uses his “in my expert legal opinion” schlock to dismiss them. “There is no scandal here.” Why Jerry? “Because I am Jerry Rivers the Great and powerful ego and I say so.”
The guy is a dyed in the wool phony and an arse.
LOL! A little slow on the uptake? Nearly as bad as the other lame stream anymore. What’s next? Hiring webb hubbles little girl as consultant? Yewwwwww!
