Whether Ted Cruz is Constitutionally eligible or not, you can bet the GOPe/RNC will be pounding the drum over and over again that he is not.

Ted Cruz never was going to get the nomination, and this is just one of the tactics they’ll use against him when the time comes.

Same for Trump. If the Rove/Priebus gang cannot take him down in the usual ways (allegations of sexual harassment, rape, sleeping with the enemy, etc.) of which FOX will happily pile on, they’ll just change the primary rules or convention rules to shoehorn Jeb in as the ‘legitimate’ winner.

They both should have flipped the GOPe/RNC the finger and gone Independent. A Trump/Cruz would have been unbeatable, no question.

If Cruz catches up to Trump in the polls, Trump will go nuclear about it.

Argument 8 – The Supreme Court decision Minor vs. Happersett establishes a legal precedent defining the meaning of NCB

This is the case most widely cited by birthers, and it's bogus. They take a very small portion out of context, that to paraphrase says "some legal scholars argue that citizen at birth is different than NBC", while ignoring that the court immediately followed by stating that there's no need to rule on that because she clearly qualifies in either case. So it's clearly not a precedent.

Someone that can’t or won’t find the Shift key and doesn’t have respect enough to readers to use it isn’t anyone with an educated opinion.

Can anyone argue that a child born to two citizen parents, and born on the soil of said country NOT a NBC?

NO, there is no argument.

If a child is born without the above same circumstances, but is a citizen by statute, is there argument against NBC status?

Yes there is.

Case closed.

NBC is inherent and Natures Law, it needs no statutes.

This article is so full of holes it is not worth the time to dispute it.

Obama’s election as President closed the door on this issue..

If the Surpreme’s ALLOWED OBAMA.. with ZERO evidence of anything citizenship wise..

ANYONE is game.. there is precedence.. for an Indonesian citizen to become president.. or was that Kenyan or Hawaiian..
To this day NOBODY knows..

It’s ALL Jake with the Supreme’s.. Today ; LEGAL is just a damned WORD.. Whatever the Attorney General says is legal IS LEGAL..

Epic Fail

You’re either born a citizen (that’s all natural born means, all other theories are recently invented BS) or you’re naturalized a citizen. Cruz was born one cause his mother was one. Doesn’t matter if he was born in Canada or on Mars or if his daddy was Cuban or Venusian.

You better not be spouting this garbage after Senator Cruz is nominated.

This is the case most widely cited by birthers, and it's bogus.

You mean this part?

“The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.” Minor v. Happersett, 88 U.S. 162, 168.

you’re lack of education on the subject is not my problem. stop basing everything off of your emotions and do your homework.

Cruz getting nominated is exactly what the dems want. he’d get tossed as ineligible 3 weeks before the election.

Keep this birther nonsense confined to Obama please.
