You have to read down in the story to know that this is not new news. The PGA actually pulled the tournament from Trump’s course back in July. Because they say they can not find a suitable replacement, they are now canceling the tournament.

Cedar...they cancelled the tourney....the whole tourney.

What was in July was the venue, Trump’s course. Since then they failed to find a new course so they are now cancelling the Grand Slam of Golf.

Huge.

Here’s something funny.

The PGA owns a golf course in Kentucky, that they bought in part to mitigate this sort of risk and give them a fall back option thats completely under their control.

They decide, today, not to exercise that available fallback option and cancel the event outright.

I wonder why? Did I mention that golf course is in Kentucky?
