I don’t think that’s correct. They can keep asking questions, and you invoke the privilege for each applicable question. It’s not a blanket refusal to answer all questions — but of course that’s how it usually turns out as they repeatedly don’t answer questions.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on GOPe...............
The GOP will be more than happy to grant him immunity.
Lerner was allowed to set this precedent, to be used for Benghazi testimony, and any other oversight of the oligarchy from now on. Thanks GOP Congress!

EXCLUSIVE: Hillarys Email Server Had A Webmail Portal That Allowed UNRESTRICTED ACCESS To Hackers
Make the person testify, ask great questions for him to not answer.
The committee should give him trans-actional immunity before he makes a statement, but beware of what happened with Ollie North.
Perhaps we won’t need his testimony after all..............heh, heh, heh......................
Maybe not .... :-)
Will Hillary Clintons Emails Burn the White House?
Its clear that many people inside the State Department had to be aware, at least to some degree, of what Clinton and her inner staff were engaged in. How far that knowledge went is a key question that the FBI is examining. The name Patrick Kennedy pops up frequently. A controversial character, Kennedy is the State Departments undersecretary for management (hence his Foggy Bottom nickname M). A longtime Clinton protégé, Kennedy is believed by many to be the key to this case, since his sign-off likely would have been needed for some of Clintons unorthodox arrangements.
Described by more than one insider as the State Departments J. Edgar Hoover, Kennedy is a figure of mystery to many. Id put talking to him near the top of my list, explained a retired senior FBI official, a career counterintelligence agent. Would Kennedy go down for Hillary? Maybe, he added, But will some GS [General Schedule] or FSO [Foreign Service Officer], meaning a career State Department employee, go down for Hillary? I doubt it. The FBI will get someone to talk, we always do.
Boys and Girls, It's Gowdy Doody time again.
Don't forget how Hillary acted during her time at the WH. People were NEVER to make 'eye contact', never be in the hallways when she was passing thru and would treat subordinates, and WH staff as mere peasants in her presence. Do you think she acted any different at the State Department? No, she would have been even worse, being the SOS. I'm sure there are many there who would love to get their stories told, but only under protection. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and there will be many servers to give her heinous her comeuppance....................................
Congressional committee has to give him immunity so they can get the testimony.
Has it been on yet, if not what channel of c-span is it on?
“The current political environment has no bearing as grounds””
I was going to say the same thing. It’s scary how alike we - mostly - are!!! I would love to hear him or his attorney say this in a hearing and be met SERIOUSLY with that same response. What does “politics” have to do with you answering questions?
