Heavy police activity in Volo as search for Fox Lake suspects continues

There is a heavy police presence in Volo, Illinois as the search for suspects in the fatal shooting of a Fox Lake officer continues.
There is police activity near U.S. 12 and IL 120 where authorities have established a perimeter as it relates to the search.
There are multiple unconfirmed reports of one or more people running in the fields and neighborhoods in that area.

Seems a bit odd. I don't think these guys were prison escapees and it seems the have zero zip ID on this guys. I can't figure out why they'd be running through fields like they were known and just escaped. Do they even have approximate ages for these 3 guys?
