Have you ever had relationships with people who didn’t agree with your politics? I have. I didn’t adopt their views or agree with things they did, but socially they were friends. If one of them needed some cash, I’d probably have given them some.

We get all exercised because Trump gave Sharpton some money. I don’t know what that money was for, or if Trump even knew. It doesn’t sound like a massive sum of money when you consider the relationship has gone on for something like 27 years now.

I can’t see spending any time with Sharpton, but I’m not convinced Trump did eather except where it might put him in touch with King, as mentioned in the article.

If Sharpton but the squeeze on Trump for the woman, it may have come at the right time when Trump needed him.

You’ve got multi-hundred million if not billion dollar enterprise on the line. With a little effort you’ve got Don King in your pocket. Is that sinister?

I’m no Sharpton fan. Frankly I’ve loathed him and Jackson for decades. The Tawana Brawley incident was enough to convince me he was untouchable. Trump needed him.

Should that eliminate him from being president. Again, for some it will. For me it won’t.

We’ve got four years to turn this nation around. Beyond that, we’ve got serious catastrophic issues.

I’m going with Trump because he can. Nobody else can.

That’s the long and the short of it.
