The Islamic State’s so-called “province” in the Caucasus region has claimed responsibility for its first official attack since its was established earlier this year.

In a statement released online (seen above), and translated by the SITE Intelligence Group, the group says “the soldiers of the Caliphate were able to mount an attack on barracks of the Russian army in southern Dagestan, in Magharamakint village.” The raid allegedly “led to the killing and wounding of a number of them.” Afterwards, “the soldiers of the Caliphate returned to their positions safely and with spoils, and unto Allah is all praise and gratitude,” SITE’s translation reads.

The Islamic State announced its Caucasus branch in June, but the jihadists had not claimed responsibility for any attacks since then. . .

Islam has been at war with the world for many years now. Because ISIS is now uniting these radicals, it eventually will unite their opponents. Once this happens, I hope that it will be the day that political correctness for Islam dies.

I was in Russia in Jan 2002, just a few months after the 911 attack on the U.S.

I was watching the Euro-weenies on the TV wringing their hands bemoaning the barbaric Americans attacking poor, little Afghanistan.

I switched to a Russian channel to see a segment on the Chechen war, completely unreported in the Euro-weenie media.

The Russians leafleted a city giving residents 48 hours to evacuate. They were advised that their papers had to be “in order” or they would be detained. People attempting to avoid the checkpoints would be summarily executed.

When the 48 hours was up, the Russians started the shelling and aerial bombing. They blew up everything; apartment buildings, schools, hospitals, factories, mosques, churches, everything.

Then they sent in giant earth movers to bulldoze the rubble, followed by tanks and troops. They killed everything that moved. They did not look for survivors.

Not a peep from the Euro-weenie media.

Needless to say, that war didn’t last long.

So if ISIS wants to goad the Russians, I say let them go for it.

What you refereed to is known as "The Russian Hammer."

U.S.: If you receive sniper fire from a village send a platoon in to try and flush out the snipers.

Russia: Sniper fire? Level the village.

The Russian`s hands are not tied by PC garbage, I would round up every suspected radical, torture them for any information, then summarily execute every last one, if need be, their families too. There would be no mercy, cold blooded extermination of every last one, NO QUARTER would be the rule of thumb.

Heh. At least the Russians gave them 48 hours to get out. But the city was completely surrounded, and evacuees were vetted at checkpoints.

I thought it was astounding that the euro media made no mention of this whatsoever, while mewling about the Americans in Afghanistan.
