Exit Glacier, near Seward, Portage Glacier, near Anchorage and Mendenhall Glacier near Juneau are three of the most visited glaciers in Alaska. All three have been retreating since the 19th Century. Folks that visited any one of these much earlier in their lives are taken back by the extent of their retreat.

But to blame the retreat on Man is just ignorant. Changes in snowfall has more to do with the accumulation of ice in the ice fields that feed each of these glaciers. Go look at the size and depth of the ice fields, study changes in weather patterns before using a photo op at Exit Glacier to effect National opinion.
