The Obama administration now appears to have enough support in Congress to stave off Republican efforts to reject his controversial Iran nuclear deal, after a retiring Maryland Democratic senator came out Wednesday morning in favor of the pact.
Sen. Barbara Mikulski, D-Md., announced her support for the deal ahead of a speech on the agreement by Secretary of State John Kerry. She becomes the 34th senator to support the deal, giving President Obama enough backing to sustain a veto of a Republican bill opposing it, should that bill pass in a vote later this month.

What did she get in return?

Why did Republicans flip the votes from needing 2/3rds by Obama to 2/3rds by Congress?
Why did Republicans want Nukes in Iran?

"Passage" = one third of one house of Congress.
So much for everything I learned in civics class.

The stage is set for Ted Cruz to filibuster.
Not saying it would work, but if you’re gonna go down, don’t let it be because you didn’t unload all your ordinance.

Cruz never should have voted for the Corker bill to begin with. The nuclear bombs that Iran will be detonated over the US will have his name and the names of every single sellout who voted for it.

From the article:
"I really believe the fastest way to a genuine arms race in the Middle East is to not have this agreement," Kerry said in a TV interview Wednesday. "Because if you don't have this agreement, Iran has already made clear what its direction is."
Skerry misspoke. He meant to say, ""I really believe the fastest way to a genuine arms race in the Middle East is to not have this agreement," Kerry said in a TV interview Wednesday. "Because if you do or don't have this agreement, Iran has already made clear what its direction is."

The headline is inaccurate, to say the least.
Nevertheless, it would be an “Obama deal” only. The next President could, and should, revoke the “deal” as his/her first order of business 16 months from now.
Of course, that could be too late.

Key word = virtually.
Bandwagon propaganda tool, imply inevitability. Don’t stop protests, that’s what they want with this move, to dishearten opponents.
If anything, this should kick protests into high gear to hold them accountable. Also to prove that their go-to nazi tactics won’t defeat conservatives.
It’s not final!
