Muslim Civil Liberties Group Claims Airline Violated Flight Attendants Constitutional Rights
A Muslim flight attendant has filed a complaint with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEO) claiming she was suspended from her job for not serving alcohol which is against her religious beliefs.
Lena Masri, an attorney for the Council of American Islamic Relations Michigan (CAIR), says Charee Stanley followed managements directions, working out an arrangement with her coworkers to accommodate passenger requests for alcohol.
And in the Muslim flight attendant's case, she took a job that she knew involved serving alcohol. It's doubtlessly in the job description multiple times, like "serve drinks, verify age of alcohol customers, cut off drunk customers, etc")
(The county clerk OTOH, entered office before the job description included "Issue license licenses to 'same-sex marriage' customers")
