Merkel hints at bringing back border checks
Budapest station was evacuated on Tuesday morning as hundreds of migrants tried to reach Vienna and Munich
Protests were staged and about 100 police officers wearing helmets and wielding batons guarded the station
Meanwhile, one man was lucky to be alive after he was found hidden under a car bonnet by Spanish border police
More than 100 people crammed into a rubber dinghy were rescued from the Mediterranean Sea by the Italian navy
Hundreds of angry migrants, some waving tickets and holding their babies in the air, staged protests outside a Budapest station on Tuesday and demanded they be allowed to board trains to Germany and Austria.
Hungarian authorities evacuated and closed the citys Eastern Railway Terminus when scuffles broke out between people storming their way onto carriages.
It came just hours after German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the EU's passport-free travel zone was under threat.
Meanwhile, migrants clambered through razor wire fences into Macedonia, risked their lives on rubber dinghies in the Mediterranean Sea, and one man even hid inside a red-hot car engine in a bid to get out of Morocco as the migrant crisis continued to spiral out of control.
An announcement came over the loudspeakers at the station in Budapest on Tuesday morning after about 500 people tried to board a train to Vienna. It said: 'No trains will be leaving or arriving at Keleti station (Eastern Railway Terminus) until further notice.'
About 100 police officers wearing helmets and wielding batons guarded the station as people booed and hissed outside. One man held up a sign that said, in German: 'Please let us go!'
I think they should consider letting these poor refugees in... provided they eat a pork sandwich while pissing on a likeness of muhammed.
Otherwise, back you go, moongod worshipper. You vermin made your bed... it’s time for a nap.
Just tell them that Germany will take an unlimited number of refugees and all of Africa and ME will head north.
This is going to get incredibly ugly
dirt nap?
Looks like a map of how to invade Europe.
What happens when they reach their destination? Nirvana?
It will soon be both ugly and common. Ugly because average citizens, of any country, don't want to see more freeloaders and possible terrorists in their land.
But common because, except in Hungary, the ruling elites just don't care. They will continue to allow mass uncontrolled migration because it makes the elites feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
My sad prediction: The elites will win. Protests will die down (and be tamped down), and the new order will gradually become accepted.
“Hundreds of angry migrants, some waving tickets and holding their babies in the air, staged protests outside a Budapest station on Tuesday and demanded they be allowed to board trains to Germany and Austria.”
Demanded?
There needs to be sufficient deterrence to stop these human wave attacks. Stop the benefits and fortify the borders. If they keep coming at the border after warnings to stop, then it is time to shoot them.
And with the American haters in this country now in power, there will be pressure to let more Muslims into this country, under the guise of humanitarianism. -Tom
Why aren’t their muslim neighbors taking them in?
You might want to add some urgency to those hints, Angela.
God only knows how many of these vermin are ISIS or their sympathizers.
I can make a fair estimate.
Take the total number. Subtract the number who have spoken out against any muslim terrorist attack.
That's how many sympathizers you have.

Angela Merkel: Reintroducing border controls to stop migrants is not the 'Europe we want'
I guess what Merkel wants Merkel gets. Or what she's gonna invade the rest of Europe?
CRAP! We are going to Budapest in 2 months!!! These people ruin everything they touch....it will be a HELLHOLE by the time we get there.
