Things are rapidly getting worse in the legal department for former Secretary of State and democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
The State Department is set to release a batch of 6,000 personal emails belonging to Clinton tonight, but we're already getting a sneak peak of what they contain.
That's right, 150 more documents flagged for classified information. This news comes on top of revelations earlier this month Clinton had at least 300 classified documents passing through her private email server, which intelligence officials are almost certain was hacked by foreign governments. Also keep in mind that out of hundreds of classified documents, at least two found in Clinton's system were deemed top secret (the highest level of classification).
As Guy wrote about last week, the FBI is reportedly using it's "A-Team" to investigate the legal aspects of Clinton's inappropriate handling of classified information with the prosecutor who took down General David Petraeus leading the way. Felonies for Clinton could be on the table if she is in fact indicted.
An FBI "A-team" is leading the "extremely serious" investigation into Hillary Clinton's server and the focus includes a provision of the law pertaining to "gathering, transmitting or losing defense information," an intelligence source told Fox News. The section of the Espionage Act is known as 18 US Code 793. A separate source, who also was not authorized to speak on the record, said the FBI will further determine whether Clinton should have known, based on the quality and detail of the material, that emails passing through her server contained classified information regardless of the markings. The campaign's standard defense and that of Clinton is that she "never sent nor received any email that was marked classified" at the time. It is not clear how the FBI team's findings will impact the probe itself. But the details offer a window into what investigators are looking for -- as the Clinton campaign itself downplays the controversy...A leading national security attorney, who recently defended former CIA officer Jeffrey Sterling in a leak investigation, told Fox News that violating the Espionage Act provision in question is a felony and pointed to a particular sub-section...The Clinton campaign did not provide an on-the-record comment on the matter when given questions by Fox News.
Meanwhile, the Clinton campaign's response to increasing pressure surrounding classified information has gone from the former Secretary "never sending or receiving any classified information" to "she never knowingly sent or received classified information."

She says she never received or sent classified information. My question is “What SOS can go 5 years without sending or receiving classified information?”. What the f**k was she doing in that position. The administration must not have been using her as a real SOS. She was merely a figurehead and her accomplishments are nil. Or she’s a liar.
This is what Kendall does:
con·si·glie·re
noun: consigliere; plural noun: consiglieri
an adviser, especially to a crime boss.
It is time that the FBI stops investigating the server, but begin investigating Hillary.
She needs time in a jumpsuit.
When people realize Hillary’s NOT going to win - not even going to represent the democrat side - things will start breaking... Until then it’s gonna be very quiet.... That said, I hope you’re right about Kendall...
Added info:
Violation of 18 USC 793 is a felony.
Violation of 18 USC 1924 is a misdemeanor.
A conviction on either one should eliminate anyone from holding the position of POTUS in my opinion.
Not only is she unable to determine classified info from unclassified info - but she actually accepted the job of Secretary of State apparently thinking that NONE OF HER EMAIL WAS CLASSIFIED! Just think about it.
In other words we have been the leader in balancing who has what and does what with it and that was a role we stole without permission.
In Obama's opinion and Hillary's as well, it may be time for Iran, China or Putin's Russia to determine world balance and military aggression.
Works for me!
Critical Nuclear Weapons Design clearance is governed by the Atomic Energy Act, not DoD or other espionage legislation. And it has teeth.
Very likely. When I was assigned at HQ USEUCOM, much of our message traffic (then, DD Form 173, not email, but the same security requirements) was sent to American Embassies, CC to State Department. Every single message that had State as an addressee was routinely classified SECRET at a minimum.
For Hillary to claim she didn't "know" these messages were classified is blatant BS. With all the turbulence happening in the world during her tenure, much of which involved movements of diplomatic personnel, that server of hers HAD to be churning constantly with secure email traffic. There is NO WAY she could accomplish the duties of a SECSTATE without receiving and transmitting classified documents.
Bingo! Obama doesn’t use his Cabinet the way it was intended. They’ve been running foreign policy out of the White House since the beginning. The emails will show that she had a title, but no authority or responsibility. If she had any important correspondence, foreign heads of state an ministers would be loudly objecting to the release of her emails. She’s no Henry Kissinger.
or a 'Garden of Stone'. Remember, it is the Clintons.
Thank you for than informed response. I know there are numerous types of classifications but I know nothing about their differences or how they get applied. It seems like common sense to me that any communication to or from the head of a major Fed agency would be classified until it had been vetted.
Including spam yoga routine forwards, Nigerian scams and chit chat with family and friends. After all this is not the county clerk’s office we’re talking about.
Her time at state was spent running a shakedown fundraising arm of the Clinton Foundation. Period. Even Benghazi was about profiting from the sale of arms with Blumenthal doing the auctions.
Thanks for the ping.

Why are we still talking to this person without plexiglass separating us???????
Because some people thought it was a good idea to keep Obama in the White House.
oopsy daisy, pant suit on fire AGAIN...best head to some deserted island with the mister you crook!
