Patricia M. Vroom is the top attorney for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency in Arizona. When the Obama administration initiated its unilateral policy of prosecutorial discretion, allowing illegal immigrants to remain in the U.S. as long they have not yet been convicted of a serious felony crime, they found attorney Vroom too slow in authorizing the release of illegal aliens who had committed crimes in the U.S. but did not yet meet the administrations high threshold for seeking deportation of such undocumented aliens.
U.S. immigration law, as enacted by Congress pursuant to the Constitution, provides that any alien who has unlawfully entered the U.S. is inadmissible and cannot be legally admitted. Inadmissible aliens are subject to removal from the U.S. even if they commit no additional crimes other than illegal entry. And even if legally admitted, aliens are subject to removal/deportation if convicted of any of a wide variety of crimes including misdemeanors. The Obama administration and all civil servants in the executive branch share the presidents constitutional obligation to take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.
Attorney Vroom reported being bullied and harassed by officials in Washington when she raised concerns about the application of the Obama administrations prosecutorial discretion policy. She said that Obama administration officials lowered her annual performance rating for moving too cautiously to authorize the release of undocumented aliens with criminal records. She sued the Department of Homeland Security, of which ICE is a part, for age and sex discrimination.
The Department has agreed to pay attorney Vroom $400,000 taxpayer dollars to end her lawsuit. The Department has also agreed to upgrade her annual performance rating to achieved excellence. As part of the settlement Vroom will retire on October 1 after 30 years working for the federal government. The Department did not admit to any wrongdoing.
This was reported by New York Times reporter Julia Preston, whose beat includes immigration. Her story was published as a single paragraph in the National Briefing feature at the bottom of page A13 of the print edition of the Times on Saturday, August 29, 2015.
So it cost Obama 400K of our money, the attorney retires and then they promptly install one of their hacks into the position to do their bidding.
The whole system is rigged.
President Salvador Sanchez Ceren of El Salvador, left,
President Otto Perez Molina of Guatemala, second left,
and President Juan Orlando Hernandez of Honduras, right.
E/O and signing ceremony never happened. Obama was photoed signing "memos" on AF One--not an "executive action." Why? B/c an E/O comes w/ legal baggage that the conniving Boobamba wanted to evade. Both "memos" are now on the White house website.

The first of Obama's presidential action memos is entitled: Creating Welcoming Communities Fully Integrating Immigrants and Refugees, filed Nov. 26 in the Federal Register at Vol. 79, No. 228, (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2014-11-26/html/2014-28191.htm).
In the category Presidential Documents at page 70769, Obama ordered a White House Task Force on New Americans to engage with community, business, and faith leaders, as well as State and local elected officials. The task force is designed to help determine additional steps the Federal Government can take to ensure its programs and policies are serving diverse communities that include new Americans.
The second of the presidential actions entitled, Modernizing and Streamlining the U.S. Immigration Visa System for the 21st Century, filed Nov. 26 in the Federal Register at Vol. 79, No. 228, in the category Presidential Documents at page 70765 (http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2014-11-26/html/2014-28191.htm).
This empowered the secretaries of State and Homeland Securityin consultation with the director of the Office of Management and Budget, the director of the National Economic Council, the assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism, the director of the Domestic Policy Council, the director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy, the attorney general, and the secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, Labor and Education.
The order was to make a series of recommendations to reduce government costs, improve services for applicants, reduce burdens on employers, and combat waste, fraud, and abuse in the system of issuing immigrant and non-immigrant visas.

The scam works this way: signed Boobamba memos "delegate" to federal agencies orders to come up with plans (that must advance Boobamba's global conspiracy to overthrow the US govt w/ Third World federales and their cadres jumping the US border).
The federal agencies then "invent" Committees to do this (the better to overthrow the US govt). Then "Administrative Rules," after a comment period, will be published in the "Code of Federal Regulations," which magically turns them into law........ using federal fairy dust.
So Boobamba is shielded from responsibility---he doesn't have to take the hit. Behind closed doors, he tells federal factotums what he wants.....and faster than you can say "the combo plate w/ extra hot sauce".....the overthrow of the US govt commences.
=====================================================
THE "DELEGATION" HORROR STORY--A Federal agency MO since 1946. It's down to a science: (1) publish a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM), (2) make the comment period really short, (3) stonewall any negative comments, and, (4) publish the rule, which (5) NOW has the force of US law. No Congressman was ever involved, and Boobamba doesn't leave his DNA on it. Yet again, why "Delegation" is ominous for liberty---why the writing of administrative law by federal agencies - is un-Constitutional (hat tip to FReeper Regulator.)
So the Obama regime wins again. They pay $400,000 in taxpayer funds, admit no wrong doing and the attorney retires. There needs to be personal consequences for the offending Feds for there to be any justice.
Ha! That’s funny...expecting Fedzilla to held accountable (oh, and thanks for your ‘kindly donation’ in that fine)
How ‘bout maritime. IIRC, the captain is the head and responsible for each of his crew. Still, even IF Bozo paid his yearly salary as the fine, he’d find a way NOT to pay it outright. And it wouldn’t stop him from traipsing around the world on our dime.
I would guess her new career will involve representing other ICE attorneys doing the same things she did. She should become rich in her new endeavor.
