Planned Parenthood Southeast on Friday filed a federal lawsuit over Gov. Robert Bentleys effort to cut off Medicaid payments to the organizations Alabama clinics.
The organization said Bentleys effort penalizes low-income women who seek contraceptive and preventative health care services at the clinics. The lawsuit was filed in federal court in Montgomery. It accuses Bentley of violating a federal law that they said requires Medicaid patients to have their choice of provider to receive family planning care.
Were in court today because each and every patient, and her ability to make her own deeply personal and private health care decisions, matters, said Staci Fox, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Southeast.
Bentleys press office did not have an immediate response to the lawsuit.
Bentley earlier this month announced he was moving to terminate Medicaid provider agreements with Planned Parenthood. The governor cited now famous hidden-camera videos that accuse the organization of selling fetal organs for profit after abortions.

what a coven of evil Arrogant witches
Taxpayers have no choice but to burn these buildings down.
“Were in court today because each and every patient, and her ability to make her own deeply personal and private health care decisions, matters,”
She actually states the reason they SHOULD NOT be funded. They are making a very personal decision to kill the child. Where is the medical necessity in that? Why would it be reimbursed?
What about Christians’ deeply held beliefs?
I guess they dont matter, with their silly God. s/
I will never get the picture of that witch chomping on a salad and drinking wine while talking about baby parts like it was nothing. Hell has a spot for her.
The state has no CHOICE? WTF!!! I thought everyone had CHOICE because CHOICE is a “merican of the U.S.” tradition! Damn Margie Sanger Commie baby butchers. If I was president, all of your asses would be in prison for murder.
Oh really??
So those who profess to be “pro-choice” are against anybody else’s choices. Awesome. Also, where do they get the money to be able to sue a state?
These people are despicable. They put a bowl of condoms on the counter and claim they provide “contraception services”.
There are plenty of “women’s clinics.” Why does Planned Parenthood deserve special funding?
According to the whistleblower, Holly O’Donnell of Stem Express, they routinely encouraged undecided women to undergo abortion because they had quotas to meet.
That doesn’t sound like they help women make tough decisions. They sound more like used car salesmen (no offense to used car salsemen.)
What a bunch of Nazis.
...hidden-camera videos that accuse show the organization of selling fetal organs for profit...
Well we do fund them with taxpayer $$$ and probably paid for their buildings
they and the whole cutrent administration worship at the altar of money and Satan
Here’s an interesting commentary on the article:

Especially with the money they make on baby organs and abortion services. I suspect it could be a taxpayer fund kickback scheme where they donate part of those taxpayer funds back to the very politicians who facilitate them getting access to those funds in the first place. Just this past week we learned why so many of the traitors on Capitol Hill were FOR the Iran (Nuke America and Israel) Deal; they were getting their pockets stuffed by the Iranians via the Iranian American PAC (IAPAC).
Everthing about politics in DC is about MONEY in their pockets over the American people’s better interests.
While I think the Planned Parenthood issue is important I’m more concerned about the Iranians getting access to nuclear weapons because they’ll be able to kill us all, including our children.
Taxpayers have no choice but to kick their collective asses.
If the judge rules against the state this will be a perfect time for a governor to refuse to obey the court order citing the 10th Amendment.
True; there are so many things to be concerned about in America today. If I don’t worry enough in one day, I start to worry I’m not worrying enough! =)
