It was the consensus among the Prophet's companions that homosexuals had to be put to death, but they disagreed on the method. Some thought [a homosexual] should be burned alive, others advocated toppling a wall over him and leaving him to die under the rubble, and yet others thought he should be cast from the highest wall in the village and then, to complete [the task], pelted with stones. The last [method] has actually been applied by ISIS to a homosexual who was cast from a tall building in Baghdad.[6] [The first and fourth caliphs,] Abu Bakr and Ali bin Abu Talib, ordered to burn homosexuals, and this was done. A book by the historian Al-Tabari[7] states that Abu Bakr ordered his commanders, during the wars against the apostates, to burn...

The problem here is simple. Accurate history is no longer taught, and for many that were fortunate to be taught accurate history some 30 years or more ago the details are often forgotten.

The outrageous acts of savagery were the way Mohammad terrorized the villages so they would submit to his ransacking. A few families worth of heads on pikes were a way to soften the resistance while they looted, raped and took slaves. Also, it was a way to recruit new members to help them loot more villages. Those who joined got a cut in the takings.

Christianity did not reform its tenets. Islam includes the barbarities characteristic of Moslems in its tenets. It's in the book. Islam cannot reform while continuing to be Islam. The church has not executed anyone. Some of the military leaders of Spain did execute some folks during the Inquisition, but I have read that the numbers were not that high and that they have been seriously inflated. Like a more realistic number would be around 500-1000 - far too many, but not in the many thousands. Certainly not like what the Muslims have dome over many centuries.

I have read that Muslims have murdered about 200 million. So many Hindu were slaughtered for a thousand years.

It is interesting that most of the members initiation to Islam was by force, and fear keeps them from leaving. Those born into it get fully indoctrinated into believing it is legitimate that they can kill.

Right on. There is no comparison between Islam which mandates tortures and executions or slavery for all who don't believe or who believe slightly differently and Christianity which says to love your enemy but in whose claimed name and without the mandate of the Church or any part of the Religion, violence has been done against non believers. In Islam such is required. In Christianity such is prohibited.

Islam cannot have a "Reformation" because there are no corruptions to be reformed. It is all in the Book. Reformation is dissolution.

It’s true that Christians have killed a lot of people. So did the ancient Israelites. Look what we did to those poor Canaanites. What they are really saying, however, is that since Christians are not blameless and neither are Jews, we must each submit to being slaughtered by Muslims in order to pay for our past sins. It’s not lies, it’s moral lunacy.
