What do you call it in the mideast when ISIS comes into a town and kills almost all of the non-Muslims? It’s not a mass shooting?
To: rellimpank
Killing two people and injuring one is a “mass shooting”?

71 bodies found in a truck in Austria.
Not one of them was shot.

Yeah but we have fewer car bombings and mass beheadings so it kind of evens out.

This is all together untrue as there are several very small countries that are in constantr turmoil and are in hot wars. Most hot wars include large numbers of casualties by gun, particularly against civilian populations.
Now as far as countries not involved in civil wars, ours is the third most populous country on Earth. With second amendment protecting peoples rights to have guns, it stands to reason that we would have the ‘most’ mass shootings than any country. Particularly countries like China where the mass shootings are carried out by the government.

A black fag shoots two people and it's a mass murder? It's tragic, yes, but mass murder?
Again, a loony liberal writes an anti gun article that begins with hyperbole and exaggeration. And even a first year logic student knows that if you begin with an erroneous premise, your conclusion will also be erroneous.
But since when have loony liberals been concerned with logic or reason?

1966 and 2012, there were 90 mass shootings
If I'm doing my math right thats 90 shootings in 46 years - about 2 per year.
Assume we have 300 million people in the country that comes to
0.00000007% of the population commits a mass shooting every year.
And if 10 people are killed on average 0.0000007% of the population is killed per year.
Some people need to get some perspective. Those number are TINY even if you want to say they are the worst in the world. There is no law that can target a number that small. You would need to target EVERYONE to stop those 2 individuals a year. (of course they want EVERYONE to not be allowed access to guns).
How many other issues could people focus on that would save more than 0.000007% of the population per year? If nothing else, focus on the non-mass shootings and try to stop the typical killings that happen in Chicago, DC, Baltimore and other places EVERY WEEK. Even that's a pretty small percent of the population and there are lots of better issues to work on if you want to save lives.

Ah, but there are fewer beheadings than ANYWHERE. LOL.

I remember when Ronald Gene Simmons murdered sixteen people here in Arkansas.
He strangled half the people with a cord, drowned one.
He shot the other half with a single action .22 Ruger.
Guess which ones the anti-gunners bring up demanding tougher gun laws.

In reading some old Western magazines, I found many massacres in the 1800s in which no guns were used.

One look at the activities of Isis or Mexico, for that matter, shows the lie of this article.
