As a Vietnam vet, who was in the military under the first whimp aka Carter, I think about it, a lot!
In August of 1981 I was in the UK attending a seminar when our planes shot down Libyan fighter planes and then bombed Tripoli.
One of the British attendees walked up and slapped me on the back saying, “It looks like you’ve finally got a real president.”
