Actually the root of the problem is the high rate of liberalism in the Republic, a situation that the Founders would not have tolerated. All mass murderers, high profile murders and every single political assassination has been at the hands of an atheist/leftist. There has never been such an occurrence as today's killings in Virginia committed by a Bible-based Conservative. Not one.

Just think what this country would look like today if we didn’t have gun owners defending the 2nd amendment? I’m certain that without the 2nd amendment, the concentration camps would be filled with government dissidents in this country.
