TRAYSURE!
Good work, Europe.
Woman in Gold. Helen Mirren.
Three centuries back the Pussian king had a spectacular room created in a palace in Berlin with artwork out of carved amber. It was later given to the Russian court and the Czars had it expanded and installed in a St Petersburg palace.
Hitler’s highly skilled Socialist Labor thieves took the room to Konigsberg (I think) where it vanished at the end of the war. The panels were either destroyed or hidden, no one is sure.
The room has been recreated in Russia in the last 25 years.
Watch Putin demand that the train be turned over to Russia because it had rightfully been the property of the USSR.
And watch Poland tell him to go to hell!
Putin is already there.
I thought the Amber Room burned in Koenigsburg Castle...at least according to that one documentary.
The amber panels of the room were stolen by the Nazis. Some years ago a project was started to recreate the amber room from old photos. I don’t know if it was completed or not. But actual panels were started using amber found on the beaches of Baltic Sea but it was more difficult as decades of beachcombers had picked up a lot of the precious amber in sight but still there was amber found under the beach sand and rock and in the shallow sea shelf.
For those reading amber is fossilized tree sap and the yellow amber of the Baltics was from prehistoric trees that are extinct so the amber was rare and precious.
It took 40 years for the first amber room to be constructed. Photos of the room show it to be one grand piece of art.
Now from photos and recollections of people alive when it was still in the palace, it is said to have been the most beautiful room ever, that nothing then or since can be compared to it in terms of art and beauty, and intricate artwork sculpted as scenes in relief.
The Nazis sawed off the amber panels from the walls and stole them away to a train never to be found again. It would be interesting if the train that was found in this report contains the fabled amber room panels of the palace.
You should describe a little of the history for those reading as it is highly interesting. It is said to be a piece of art that rivals anything else.
The strategy was to completely rob the the victims then kill those without value as slave laborers. Then in some cases render the fat for soap and candles.
The national socialists were (are)some real gems.
I was just 12 years old when WWII ended and in our NYC neighborhood we had a lot of vets, some of 'em full of war stories. One guy told of being with a bunch who liberated a concentration camp, and were sickened by what they saw.
He said one guy, who had been in since D-Day, was Ok - until he went into a room that had a couple of bins of baby shoes. He went ape and shot a couple of the guards before he was stopped. The a-hole officers were going to court martial the guy, but somehow it never went through.
Well-sited hide. Just blow mountain down over the tunnel portal, take up the turnout and ties, few passes with a bulldozer to remove the contour of the roadbed (unless it was a shoo-fly to begin with, shoot everybody involved. Train disappears.
They also stole art from Jews. I know personally of one case.
A Pizarro masterpiece that was stolen from a Jewish home by Nazis was found about 8 years ago to have surfaced in a museum in Madrid, Spain.
The owners were holocaust survivors in their 90’s. They had an old photo of the painting that they had been able to preserve. The painting would be worth at auction more than $20 million. They had searched their whole lives to find it with no luck. They emigrated to the United States to live in San Diego.
The owner’s son who was a union musician for CBS in New York had a friend who was visiting Madrid and went into the museum for simple viewing. He had seen the old black and white photo of the painting many times before but he was not looking for it. Then suddenly he saw it and immediately called his friend in New York saying “you will not believe what I am seeing”.
The discovery of the missing painting led to a lawsuit between the Spanish government and the old Jewish couple in San Diego. Their law firm sued to have jurisdiction moved to New York City and I believe they won after about 2 years. From what I remember it was a very difficult lawsuit case, very expensive but the lawyers were awesome. The old couple died before they could see their art masterpiece recovered but their son kept the case going.
The SS’s reality shifting experiments during the war, conducted at an outpost in Yugoslavia resulted in a generator that gave them access to the 4th dimension, and allowed them to instantly transport themselves back-and-forth from the Earth to the Moon.
A team of heavily armed mercenaries were recently hired to find this machine. Once at this outpost, the men make a horrific discovery that changes the dynamics of the entire mission: the scene of a bloody and gruesome series of occultistic Nazi experiments carried out by the SS during World War II using reality shifting and reanimation to create invincible soldiers.
Amidst the carnage, they find a survivor, Götz. SS General Gotz and his company of Nazi zombies could control space and time, and they were bulletproof. They just finished destroying a battalion of Spetsnaz. I expect that as soon as they complete some personal repairs by spackling/patching themselves up with Bondo, they will be on their way from the Moon to recover this train.
I lived in Asbury Park, NJ in the '60s and stayed in a boarding house run by a Jewish woman who had survived the camps. She said some stayed alive by working for the Germans, searching body cavities of the recently gassed for anything of value that might have been hidden there. I wondered at how strong was the sense of survival that you would do such things.
My father (88th, 351st Army Infantry) was with a group that liberated one of the camps in Germany. He stood in his front yard that was one-eighth of a mile from the main highway. He pointed to the main highway and said, “I’ve seen bodies piled ten feet high for a distance of one-eighth of a mile at one of the camps.” He couldn’t pronounce German names much; but I think it must have been one of the more obscure camps that wasn’t shown in many of the first films from that era. People were more squeamish about stuff like that back then. In retrospect, they shouldn’t have been. Lately on PBS, they have shown some film that had never before been seen from that era.
Not an authority, but I have heard it said that burned amber leaves a residue that is readily detectable, and which was absent in the Koenigsburg Castle fire...
And George Soros helped, in Hungary.
If you find a link to that PBS film, please post it.
God bless your father, There were hundreds of camps scattered all over. The scale of the camp murders boggles the mind.
SS guards kill workers. SS men soon dead at hands of Red Army, or even a flying court marshal.
