The gunman who shot and killed a Virginia TV crew was a man dressed all in black. Cameraman Adam Ward captured the man approaching as he fired at him and reporter Alison Parker. The shooter has not yet been identified. According to the station manager Jeffrey A. Marks, it appears that the cameraman was shot first, and Parker was shot while running away.

IMHO the “artifacts” are reflections on the TV screen the image is on. The TV is reflecting the corner of the room it’s in, either the back of a high-back office chair or a female head with long hair, and the view outside the room’s window showing a pickup truck parked outside.

Because the shooter is a former on-air reporter and reporters are supposed to be for gun control. It goes against the narrative. Reporter kills reporter is not something they want to talk about yet.
