A gunman killed a reporter and videographer for a CBS affiliate in Virginia in a shooting that was broadcast live Wednesday morning.
Alison Parker and Adam Ward, a reporter and cameraman for CBS Roanoke affiliate WDBJ-TV, died in the shooting, Parker's mother confirmed to CBS News.
WDBJ-TV reports that deputies from Franklin County and Bedford County were on the scene.
The shooting happened at Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta, Virginia.
Thanks for typing what i was going to. Unbelievable that
he walked right up to them, at least 20 seconds getting in position.
Yep....they must have taken it down...I lost my copy.

This IS NOT the guy. Please remove.
Yep, that was it. He was uploading the videos as he was being chased. Sick animal.
WTF is the deal with the slowness @ FoxNews? No reportage on the perp’s shooting himself at all.
so 2 people “liked” it ....I am ready to resign from the human race
FB & Twitter took down his account...
It’s all about racism!
He was just taking Farrakhan’s advice...
So when can we expect charges against Farrakhan for inciting this race killing?
Removed.
GOOD
Interesting is how he pointed the gun forward , clearly in view, then withdrew to wait for the camerman to stop scanning....then fired quickly.
:( So sad for the victims. Surreal, sick and disturbed.
As white people, we are now obligated to go burn down a neighborhood.
He had already sued another station in 2012(?) for racism, so it’s pretty obvious he’s down with the struggle.
“Unbelievable that he walked right up to them,”
Just like 9-11, the passengers on the first three planes never even thought they were doomed.
The news people are used to people coming up while live and just off camera, they are taught to work through that.
Not anymore. Live shots will almost certainly be a thing of the past.
How in the world did he get so close before he started shooting, and no one see him?
Doesn’t shooting himself make him a racist? I wonder how long it will be until he gets his own plaque like Michael Brown.
Helter Skelter.

Also, it is common that the field camera used by news photographers has a light attached to it to illuminate what he is filming. Thus, someone looking toward that camera is “blinded” by that light and really can’t see anything behind that light.
