I can’t believe the article was published in THE NEW AMERICAN. Even the John Birch Society is getting to be a squishy sorta-sometime-conservative pub it it can barely condemn the immigration tidal wave and its overwhelming negative effects on the Republic.

I think the questions come down to whether or not we are dealing with legal immigrants, and essentially, the cultural background of those immigrants if legal.

Legal immigrants respect our laws (at least enough to be legal), and are more likely to come here for the purpose of becoming citizens.

The illegal immigrants are already in violation of our laws and thus continue to be a problem whether they break other laws or not.
