One out of about every twelve newborns in the United States is an anchor baby, or the U.S.-born child of illegal migrants, according to a Pew Research Center study.
This means that one anchor baby is delivered every 93 seconds, based on the 2008 census data analyzed by the Pew.
The huge number of foreign children born on U.S. soil roughly 340,000 per year is also an economic imposition on Americans, who pay taxes to help raise, feed, and educate those children of illegal migrants.
Eventually, those 340,000 U.S.-born foreign children can join the U.S. workforce and compete for wages against the roughly four million children of U.S. parents that enter the slow-growing U.S. economy each year.
Only 28 percent of likely U.S. voters believe that children born to illegal migrants in this country should automatically be American citizens, according to a 2011 Rasmussen Reports survey. In fact, the proposal is so unpopular that even Jeb Bush, who favors large-scale immigration, has criticized pregnant foreigners who grab citizenship for their kids by flying into the country posing as tourists. Bush described the practice as fraud, and asserted that, Frankly, its more related to Asian people coming into our country having children in that organized effort, taking advantage of a noble concept, which is birthright citizenship

Megan Kelly just asked Cruz, as president, would he deport a child born of two illegal parents. He refused to say he would, which means he would refuse to do it. He also said that we should build the wall, and then have a conversation over the illegals already here. That is code talk for amnesty. I will wait for Cruz supporters to justify his refusal to answer her question. He was asked repeatedly, and finally admitted he was dodging the question.

If accurate, that number is outrageous. Absolutely outrageous.
That is just the problem. An illegal alien is NOT subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. For example, that is why a sheriff in one county cannot arrest a person outside of his jurisdiction - his county.
When my daughter had a baby 18 months ago, I visited the maternity ward on two days.
I quickly came to the conclusion that:
1) most children being born are future Democrat voters
2) most of those births are being paid for by current Republican voters.
That's the point.
The last clause of the 14th Amendment states, The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
Therefore, Congress has the right to define what subject to the jurisdiction thereof means.

Correct. That is why Congress, after about 50 years after the amendment was passed, thought it necessary to pass a bill making American Indians citizens of the United States. They were originally disallowed from being citizens, though born in the United States, of course, because they were considered to be under the jurisdiction of their tribal nations. That bill defines for all time what “jurisdiction” refers to in the amendment. It means allegiance, per the writing of the senator who wrote the amendment.

I am tired, and I think I misunderstood your point.
I do not look at Fox news, so I will take your word on what Cruz said.
Cruz does not deserve support of Conservatives.
Cruz with all his brilliance has to know that this evil illegal invasion will destroy our Republic as founded.
His response clearly shows that he is a very weak man when it comes to standing tall for Liberty.
I find it contemptible that he cannot take the logical position that the parents can leave and take their anchor baby with them.
I pray that this disgustingly weak response by Cruz gets wide coverage. It is inexcusable. I hope all Liberty loving Freepers who have a facebook account will go to his page and berate his weak and disgusting comments.
Illegal immigration poses an existential threat to America. If Cruz cannot see that then he should be pushed aside.
Why don't you educate yourself by going and listening to Mark Levin explain in very great detail this issue. He truly explains it quite clearly.
