If there are serious issues to be discussed, and Walker seems to think there are, what’s the advantage of cancelling a state visit, and offending the very people you need to negotiate with?
Walker seems to be trying to get out front of this, but all he is doing is making it look like he’s doing it for political gain, and doesn’t quite get the dynamics in play.
Have the visit. Treat the leader well. Raise substantive issues, and set a time-table to discuss and resolve them.

Then there’s this take about Walker from the Fiscal Times.
- - - - - -
“Walker Jumps on Trumps Ant-China Bandwagon”
“Now, Walker has taken another stance that will, inevitably, lead many to believe that hes back to grasping at Trumps coattails. ...
Second, an attack on China once again makes Walker look as though hes trying to glom on to Trumps momentum. The real estate billionaire was up early on Monday, railing against China on Fox News and blaming China for the troubles in the U.S. markets. “

Obama doesn’t know how to negotiate without giving American interests away. That’s the point! Notice how he welcomes Communist dictators and disses and ignores Bibi? He makes me sick.

A very good point. Sir Winston Churchill was right when he said
"to jaw jaw is always better than to war war".
Walker seems to be trying to get out front of this, but all he is doing is making it look like hes doing it for political gain, and doesnt quite get the dynamics in play.
I'm convinced that Walker means well, but I don't think he thought this all the way through.
Have the visit. Treat the leader well. Raise substantive issues, and set a time-table to discuss and resolve them.
And continue to increase our military presence and activities in the Far East.
It's good to see you D1, hope all is good with you?
